Without a doubt the best thriller I have ever heard. I will admit I have been slow to love Lisa Gardner's work but this book is so totally admirable both in the story and in the writing I have become a diehard fan. The whodunit portion of the story is tense and will keep you in suspense at least until near the end. But the personalities, strengths and weaknesses of the main characters will keep you totally involved as well. It was not the ending I was hoping for but still a satisfying book. An excellent use of time and credit.
I am not a Jack Reacher fan. But I like this character. I thought he had a lot more feeling, emotion and empathy than Reacher. I will read more of this series.
This book was well worth the time and credit. I got it because I enjoyed a later book by this author. Plus James Daniels is a favorite narrator. All in all a good book.
I am so happy to report that this is a really good book. Way above the last few In Death books it has a decent murder mystery and lots of interaction with all our favorite characters. Eve is putting her past behind her even more and learning more about what it means to be happy. Welcome back!!
Some of the most delightful characters are found in this book. I want more of them. The narration is wonderful. The story about Lois nearly tickled me silly.
It is just simply hard to go wrong with a Walt Longmire story. Always worth the time and credit.
This book was certainly not bad and it held my attention but it was my least favorite of the series. Nathan does face some demons but there is just not nearly as much emotion or personal interaction as I like. It was a total opposite of the last book. Oh well - maybe the next one will be better. Still love Nathan McBride.
I am beginning to like Robie & Reel better - their characters are growing, becoming more human. The picture painted of life in North Korea was sad and it will stick with me. The story is improbable in some ways but totally fascinating. What I expect of Baldacci. Overall it was a good book and left me ready for the next installment. We'll worth my time and credit.
I am not into witches and supernatural so I skip the Nora Roberts books that involve such. This was a romantic mystery that involved interesting characters, pets, and a pretty decent story. It held my attention and left me happily satisfied. Let's hope her alter ego JD Robb can do as well next time.
An unlikely pairing of sharp-edged financial drama and suspense with heart-tugging family dynamics. This book hooked me and gave me a new author to follow. I liked the characters even though some were not very likeable. Ready for the next book in the series!
I am delighted that this book was not as violent as the last one. But neither was it engaging. Some great new characters and some lead-ins to some future events that should be fun. But come on JD, we want less focus on the crime and more of the regulars. They are what we are addicted to and crave. And did anyone else catch the blooper with the button?
