And I loved it. I love Audible sales because I can listen to authors I have not experienced before. This was a delightful book by one of my favorite narrators!

91 year-old Ira Levinson is kept concious after a car wreck by visions of his late wife, Ruth, who recounts stories of their lifetime together. A few miles away, at a local rodeo, Sophia Danko, a senior at Wake Forest, meets a young cowboy named Luke. Ira and Ruth. Sophia and Luke. Two couples who have little in common. Yet their lives will converge with unexpected poignancy, reminding us all that even the most difficult decisions can yield extraordinary journeys: beyond despair, beyond death, to the farthest reaches of the human heart.

Likeable characters. Serious plot holes. And the ending comes from a story I heard many years ago. Felt like the author was reaching for a story.

An older book but a great story. I cannot imagine the narration being better either. I sort of figured out whodunit before the end but the author did keep me guessing. Well worth the time and credit!

Amos Decker's life changed forever - twice. The first time was on the gridiron. A big, towering athlete, he was the only person from his hometown of Burlington ever to go pro. But his career ended before it had a chance to begin. On his very first play, a violent helmet-to-helmet collision knocked him off the field for good and left him with an improbable side effect - he can never forget anything.

A bit slow getting my interest, and the narrators seemed to feel the same, but when the story started to come together it was really good. This book makes you pay attention to detail and try to understand the workings of an unusual mind. I think it will be interesting to see where these characters take us. Go for it!

Drenched in the icy waters of Lake Superior, she claims to have narrowly escaped a cold-blooded killer. Yes the plot is very obvious from the start, but the story is a good ride because of the characters and description of small town life. I hope Nora will continue this with another book set in the same town - maybe a story about the deputy sheriff brother.

Without a doubt Eve is back on track. Though not as much of some of the supporting cast, there is enough of the main characters to keep me happy. This killer's motive haunts Eve but makes her realize how many friends she has. She continues to grow in putting her past behind her and appreciating the life she has now. I am a happy listener!

Rachel takes the same commuter train every morning. Every day she rattles down the track, flashes past a stretch of cozy suburban homes, and stops at the signal that allows her to daily watch the same couple breakfasting on their deck. She’s even started to feel like she knows them. "Jess and Jason," she calls them. Their life—as she sees it—is perfect. Not unlike the life she recently lost. And then she sees something shocking. It’s only a minute until the train moves on, but it’s enough. Now everything’s changed. Unable to keep it to herself, Rachel offers what she knows to the police, and becomes inextricably entwined in what happens next, as well as in the lives of everyone involved. Has she done more harm than good? Compulsively readable, The Girl on the Train is an emotionally immersive, Hitchcockian thriller and an electrifying debut.
