I finally purchased State of Wonder on sale after wavering for many months. I totally enjoyed both the writing and the narration right up until the last chapter. I had so many scenarios in mind as to how it would end but was extremely disappointed. I am just sad now.

I am not a fan of supernatural themes but it is woven so soundly into this story it is almost believable. Margaret the unattainable falls in love trying to save her brothers in this totally entertaining tale. And of course Rosalyn Landor is the best.

I will confess that I bought this book because I could get it for $1.99 after buying the Kindle book for 99 cents. It was just a fun, entertaining listen. No gross torture or even love or sex. But very interesting characters who will leave you wanting to know more about them. I am already into the next book of the series.
