I WAS CONCERNED THAT I WOULD BE BORED. I HAVE LISTENED TO MOST OF THIS SERIES AND ALWAYS COME BACK TO IT. I HAVE EVEN LISTENED TO #33 THE MOST RECENT. I HAD MISSED THIS EARLIER VERSION. I WASN'T DISSAPPOINTED. YES THE CHARACTERS HAVE EVOLVED AND I AM AMAZED HOW THIS AUTHOR IS ABLE TO KEEP THEM EVOLVING AND THE MURDERS AREN'T THE REASON TO LISTEN BUT THE CHARACTERS. I STILL ENJOYED #4 AS IT JUST BROUGHT ME BACK IN TIME AND SHOWED THE RELATIONSHIPS EARLIER ON.
I WOULD RECOMMEND ANYONE THAT HAS NOT LISTENED TO THIS SERIES START WITH THE FIRST ONE AND GO STRAIGHT THROUGH NOT MISSING ANY. I CAN'T GIVE A NEGATIVE ABOUT ANY OF THE BOOKS.
SHE DOES ALL THE VOICES WITH THE ENTIRE SERIES AND YOU INSTANTLY RECOGNIZE THEM. SHE NEVER CHANGES THE VOICES AND YOU KNOW WHO THE CHARACTERS ARE. THE VOICES AND INFLECTIONS ARE VERY GOOD FOR EACH CHARACTER.
narrator fantastic as always
this is the only series I can think of where I enjoyed all of the books and 40 of them. most authors run out way before now. yet the characters keep on developing.
Having a special soldier who could obey orders and truly uses all the special training given him.
No didn't finis this one. The series gets high ratings and it's action packed however our hero's stupid moves got on my nerves. Then I checked next book and found out some people had same issues so I just stopped and didn't finish.
It was ok.
The continued growth of the characters. The love between Dallas and Rourke and friends.
Most authors write separate stories about the variety of characters developing each couple somehow this one always includes all of them yet keeps developing each character.
NOT SURE I JUST KNOW I KEPT THINKING THIS WAS LIKE A TWILIGHT ZONE SHOW FOR THOSE OLD ENOUGH TO REMEMBER. IT TENDED TO GET ON MY NERVES BUT I DID LISTEN ALL THE WAY THROUGH. NOW I FIND OUT ITS A TRILOGY SO MAYBE THE AUTHOR WANTED TO DRAG IT OUT SO YOU WOULD LISTEN TO REST OF THE BOOKS BUT AS OF NOW I DON'T PLAN ON DOING SO.
MORE ANNOYANCE THAN ANYTHING PLUS THE AUTHOR GOT INTO THE SAME OLD MAN KIND KILLS ITSELF AND RUINS EVERYTHING AND IT RUTHLESS AND TOXIC
These are great
He does an excellent job on all characters. Oliver is really good!
Can't wait to get through the next and last one that's on audible hopefully there are more and this series continues to be 4-5,stars.
IN THE TOP 10%
YES SHE ALWAYS DOES A GREAT JOB
LITTLE COYOTE CAN GET IT DONE
TAVIA GILBERT DOES A GREAT JOB OF THE VOICES - SHE CONTINUES TO USE THE CORRECT ONES FOR EACH CHARACTER IN THIS SERIES
ALSO I LOVE IT JEANIENE FROST STARTED WITH BONES AND KAT AND ALL THEIR FRIENDS AND ALLIANCES AND THEN SHE DELVES INTO EACH OF THOSE CHARACTERS AND THEIR INDIVIDUAL STORIES
NO - THIS IS THE 2ND TRY ON HER
WITH WRITERS LARRY CORREIA, JEANIENE FROST, PATRICIA BRIGGS, DARYNDA JONES AND FAITH HUNTER KEEPING ME ON MY TOES AND JUST LOVE EVERYTHING THEY WRITE - CAN'T GET INTO MOLLY HARPER.
NONE IT HAS ITS OWN STYLE
I CAN'T IMAGINE ANYONE DOING A BETTER JOB. HIS VOICES ARE VERY IMAGINATIVE ESPECIALLY OF THE MONSTERS
SOMETIMES LAUGH, SOMETIMES CRINGE
PLAN TO LISTEN TO THE ENTIRE SERIES
NOT THE BEGINNING - USUALLY LOVE MICHAEL CONNELLY AND HAVE LISTENED TO A LOT OF HIS BOOKS
THIS ISN'T THE QUALITY OF LINCOLN LAWYER, THE POET ETC. MY HUSBAND LISTENS WITH ME WHEN WE ARE IN THE CAR HE GOT BORED AND SO DID I SO HE NEVER FINISHED IT. I FINISHED IT WHILE EXERCISING AND THE LAST 4 HOURS WERE GOOD. TOO BAD IT DRUG ON IN THE BEGINNING.
LOVE DICK HILL - BECAUSE WE LISTENED TO HIM READ ALL THE JACK REACHER NOVELS WE ARE MORE WILLING TO LISTEN TO ANY BOOK HE READS
