Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

Yes. This book has a bit of everything. Love, sex, death, The teaching of a lesson. Not to mention the twist I didn't see coming.

What other book might you compare Wicked Nights to and why?

Dark lover by J R ward. Same tough male characters learning life lessons and to love.

What does Max Bellmore bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

Max brings a lot of emotion in his voices

If you were to make a film of this book, what would be the tag line be?

    Angels are not perfect.

    Any additional comments?

I enjoyed this story because there wasn't as much Chasing with the two characters. In other books I find that it takes at least the first half of the book for the main two characters to realize they will be together and stop fighting each other. There was some doubt in this book but it was abolished.

But there's more than one corpse in those woods, and the second one raises questions no one wants to ask.

At first I had a hard time getting started with this book. I found myself starting then changing to another audio. Once I gave it some time I enjoyed trying to figure out what type of book it was going to be. Mystery..? Supernatural? both? I think the problem was the reader, she seemed so dry in the beginning, but I think that is part of the story. By mid book I was very interested and trying to predict the end.
It turns out to be a Mystery that is started by Harper do to the fact that she can find bodies.

There are 4 books in the series so far. I will defiantly move to book 2.

Once a devoted children's librarian, Jane Jameson now works at a rundown occult bookstore. Once a regular gal, she's now a vampire. And instead of a bride, she's an eternal bridesmaid -- which leads her to question where exactly her relationship with her irresistibly sexy sire, Gabriel, is headed. Mercurial, enigmatic, apparently commitment-phobic vampires are nothing if not hard to read.

    I really enjoy this series!!
Even though I could predict what was going to happen. I still found it enjoyable and it kept me entertained. Perhaps part of the draw to this series is that Jane has family drama a good portion of us could relate to. Making things believable!

Something about the main character, Jane and Amanda Ronconi just click.!! I look forward to reading book 3.

On Manhattan’s Upper East Side, a woman lies dead at the bottom of a brownstone’s basement steps, stripped of all her valuables. Most cops might call it a mugging gone wrong, but Lieutenant Eve Dallas knows better. A well-off accountant and a beloved wife and mother, Marta Dickenson doesn’t seem the type to be on anyone’s hit list. But when Eve and her partner, Peabody, find blood inside the brownstone, she knows Marta’s murder is the work of a killer who’s trained, yet not professional or smart enough to remove all the evidence.

I really enjoy all the characters Robb has created. Eve and Rourke, Peabody and McNabb. Robb does a great job intermixing them all.

This book has the entertainment value I have come too enjoy from these characters but I still feel something is missing! They are still enjoyable and I will still continue to read. I just hope something big or different happens before my love of these characters is no longer able to hold my interest

I love the Blackdagger brotherhood series. All the characters are so complex and interesting. I was very excited to see that we will finally find out what will happen with Quinn and Blay.

I am very pleased with how it all turned out. The only reason I gave it three stars is because it's so long and I found myself being confused about certain storylines. I ended up jumping around and skipping chapters. I even surfed the Internet for spoilers!! Perhaps in the future I should look for the abridged version.

If you're inpatient like me and just want to know what happens with Quinn and Blay I would suggest searching for spoilers. I may regret this for future books but I just couldn't Stay focused on the other storylines.

Yeah, that’s right—the zombie mafia. Throw in a secret lab and a lot of conspiracy, and Angel’s going to need all of her brainpower—and maybe a brain smoothie as well—in order to get through it without falling apart.

This is the second book in the White trash Zombie series. I read the first one. Loved it. Listened to the second one and I loved that even more. This series has a different spin on zombies. These are functional people with jobs yet they still have some abilities of traditional zombies.

Narration was perfect! I had a real feeling of being in the south. Which I missed out on when I read the first book.
Their is a really good mystery in the book. Well worth the credit!!!!!
I am looking forward to a book 3

I loved this book!! I can feel the connection between Jody and Tommy, they are so funny together. This time there new situation requires them to seek help from one Abby Normal, A goth teenager. Susan Bennett did a great job with Abby's character. She fit right in with the stereotype. That mixed in with Christoper's wit.. Its a perfect match. And of course The Emperor and this men. I just love the crazy old guy!!

I was a bit frustrated at the end of this book. It ended abruptly with bronze being involved oh and especially because of Chet, the shaved vampire cat...?? Smart on Christopher's part! :)

Listen to Bloodsucking Fiends first. then add this one to your chart as well!!
I am off to place book 3 in my chart

This is a prequel to Lords of the Underworld series. I have not listened to any other in this series as of yet.

I enjoyed this listen as it was short yet had some "steam". I was able to finish it in a day. At the end I did feel lost. As there needs to be more to this. Understanding dawning I believe that will come in book 1...2..ect.

Max dose such a good job with Gene's books(I have listened to another series by her). He is intense but calming and can be very seductive with his voices.

    This is great, CHEAP entertainment.

Unfortunately, her gift from New Orleans’ voodoo queen just keeps on giving - leading to a personal favor that sends them into battle once again, this time against a villainous spirit. Centuries ago, Heinrich Kramer was a witch hunter. Now, every All Hallows Eve, he takes physical form to torture innocent women before burning them alive.

    J. R. Ward's Black Dagger Brotherhood novels have introduced readers to a "different, creative, dark, violent, and flat-out amazing" (All About Romance) world. Now, as the vampire warriors defend their race against their slayers, one male's loyalty to the Brotherhood will be tested - and his dangerous mixed blood revealed.

Rehvenge's story is one of my favorites. He is a very smart and clever business man but also one who has to pay for who/what he is or so the princess thinks. When he becomes more involved with Ehlena, things begin to change. We follow the emotional up and downs to finely find Rehvenge and Ehlena happy in the end.
Other then Doc Jane Ehlena is my favorite female so far. She is kind smart and goes after what she wants. Her character is well developed and not irritating, as some of them can be.

As all of Ward's books are this one is long. Sometimes I found myself impatient for the end. I was unable to bring myself to skip ahead tho.

I would use a credit on this one. To costly otherwise.
