The Talbots are evacuating their home amidst a zombie apocalypse. Mankind is on the edge of extinction as a new dominant, mindless opponent scours the landscape in search of food, which just so happens to be noninfected humans. The Talbots have escaped Little Turtle, but to what end? On the run, they find themselves encountering a far vaster evil than the one that has already beset them. As they travel across the countryside they soon learn that there are more than just zombies to be fearful of....

    Love second book as well.
Tufo is doing a great job of making this apocalypse same real. Mike is very realistic. He knows what people are like and what humans will do! I would recommend that you read book one first. This review would make for sense if you have.

I just love Tommy!! So clueless one minute, with his candy then giving very helpful one liners the next. Its not clear to me what he truly is yet but I look forward to finding out. Nor am I clear on why this family it targeted.. Perhaps I should read book one again.

These Zombie's are evolving. That's all I will say. Its a great twist...... Speaking of great twist Zombie's read Diane Roland's My life as a white trash Zombie.... Anyway back to Zombie Fallout. The end of the book is frustrating but that is what sells books. I promptly went to buy book 3.

    Zombie fan=Zombie fallout. Enjoy!!!

Jack Walker and Michael Talbot come from two worlds; the same, yet different. They both find themselves transported into an alien one, where things aren’t as they seem. While it appears similar to the ones they come from, there are some terrifying differences. Is it a dream? Or has reality been somehow warped? Jack comes from a world filled with nocturnal creatures that were once human, but now seek to destroy the last vestiges of humanity.

I haven't listened to a Mark Tufo book yet that I didn't like. He and Sean Runnette are paired well.

It is Nick and Amy Dunne's fifth wedding anniversary. Presents are being wrapped and reservations are being made when Nick's clever and beautiful wife disappears from their rented McMansion on the Mississippi River. Husband-of-the-Year Nick isn't doing himself any favors with cringe-worthy daydreams. Under mounting pressure from the police and the media - as well as Amy's fiercely doting parents - the town golden boy parades an endless series of lies, deceits, and inappropriate behavior. Nick is oddly evasive, and he's definitely bitter - but is he really a killer?

Great book!!! Mercy tries to help her mentor Zee. In doing so she faces a very hard situation. However in doing so she is able to find out more about herself and those closest to her. She has proven that she is strong, dedicated to her friends and not a whinny character. LOVE her. We learn a bit about the 2 men in her life. I am hoping this will progress as I would like more romance for Mercy! Perhaps book 4 will!

Ms King is the perfect reader. She has a talent for making the listener "feel" the story. Great job!

I suggest reading in order. It will make more sense and being along for Mercy's development is great entertainment!

In the seventh book in the brilliant New York Times best-selling mystery series, canine narrator Chet and P.I. Bernie journey to Washington, DC, and the dog-eat-dog world of our nation’s capital. Stephen King has called Chet "a canine Sam Spade full of joie de vivre". Robert B. Parker dubbed Spencer Quinn’s writing "major-league prose". Now the beloved team returns in another suspenseful novel that finds Chet sniffing around the capital city and using his street smarts to uncover a devilish plot.

I love this series because of how its told from Chet's view. Mystery is just an added bonus for me. This particular mystery wasn't a favorite as I am not into politics however it still kept my interest somehow.

When you buy this one just remind yourself you are buying it to hear what chet is up to!

Great follow up for those who read the 0.5 book. Kaylee was finely given some answers to her "problem". Along with several great pieces of info for the murders at hand. We also fine out more about her past. It will be interesting to see what direction Vincent take Kaylee.

Narration is great as well. Ms. Ronconi has great feeling in her reads.

    All around good book.

This is the 6th book in the series. Not counting the short stories. I enjoy listening just to hear it from Chet's point of view. I would listen to any of Quinn's books as he has a talent for understanding dogs.

I can't seem to pin point my reasoning for the 3 star story. Perhaps there wasn't enough "mystery" or maybe I think Quinn can and has done a lot better.

Either way its worth the credit for me as Chet's views just make me smile.

I really enjoyed the first book. I can't seem to put my finger on what went wrong with this one.

Perhaps dry narrator....not much of a mystery...Seems rushed without much content.
I had trouble staying interested. I went to several different books before I finely finished it.

I guess it might be worth a listen. I wouldn't use a credit tho. Maybe BOGO or a sale.
