This book wasn’t for you, but who do you think might enjoy it more?

    This is typical prepper novel.

What could Kyle Pratt have done to make this a more enjoyable book for you?

I really enjoy prepper novels and the anarchy stories of the path America is going down and what could be when I get books. This started up with a vague opening and it needed something to get my interest into what was occurring.

Who would you have cast as narrator instead of Kevin Pierce?

    Ray Porter

What character would you cut from A Time to Endure?

I didn't get into it enough to pick one to drop.

    Any additional comments?

If you are just now getting into prepper stories this my be a good intro. But if you have listened to any others you will find this story painfully duplicated from eh others.

When New York Times foreign correspondent J. B. Collins hears rumors that an al-Qaeda splinter cell has captured a cache of chemical weapons inside Syria, he knows this is a story he must pursue at all costs. Does the commander of the jihadist faction really have the weapons? If so, who is the intended target? The U.S.? Israel? Or could it be Jordan?

Great political drama with the real life intensity of our world today. It does have elements of Christianity. I think the perspective of believers and non-believers was perfectly balanced through out the story.

Noah Primeval is a speculative retelling of the beloved story of Noah for a new generation. In an ancient world submerged in darkness, fallen angels rule as gods, and breed giants and monsters. Mankind is enslaved to evil. Noah, a tribal leader, has been prophesied to bring an end to the rule of these "gods" and save humanity from coming destruction. But Noah's wife and son are captives of these dark forces.

What disappointed you about Noah Primeval?

the interpretation of "creatures" that Noah has to battle. I no enjoyment in the fantasy world the author creates

What was most disappointing about Brian Godawa’s story?

Part man, part animal warriors. The reverence towards God is no where to be found.

How did the narrator detract from the book?

The narration was difficult to listen to very little development of character voicing and personality

What reaction did this book spark in you? Anger, sadness, disappointment?

Anger and disappointment. Not sure how the author is able to title the book Noah. I felt like I was listening to a detailed account of the game of dungeons and dragons

    Any additional comments?

Do not purchase if you are expecting a fiction story that has a basis on the story of Noah

Could we be living in a time of which there is more prophetic writings than of any period in history? Noah Parker, like many in the United States, has been asleep at the wheel. During his complacency, the founding precepts of America have been slowly, systematically destroyed by a conspiracy that dates back hundreds of years. The signs can no longer be ignored and Noah is forced to pull his head out of the sand and see things for what they really are.

Would you try another book from Mark Goodwin and/or Kevin Pierce?

No. This is almost a short story duplicate from the 299 days series. Different characters, same story.

Would you ever listen to anything by Mark Goodwin again?

Probably not. After listening to quite a few of his books they have become boring and menotenous

Who would you have cast as narrator instead of Kevin Pierce?

    Ray Porter

What reaction did this book spark in you? Anger, sadness, disappointment?

Disappointment. I listening to a lot of the end of are country and prep per style books. Maybe too many. Looking forward to an author becoming more creative than what is published today.

I feel like this book was written to fill in the blocks of standard collapse series.

Would you try another book from Jeff Shaara and/or Barry Bostwick?

    No

Has The Glorious Cause turned you off from other books in this genre?

This is a very detailed Doctorate type thesis of the world economy. A lot of effort and research went into this book. However for listening to this book the narration became very monotone. As truthful as this book may very well be it was impossible ot finish.

Would you be willing to try another one of Barry Bostwick’s performances?

    No

What character would you cut from The Glorious Cause?

There really are no characters other than real world powers and leaders. It is obvious that we can't cut them out of the world's financial market.

What disappointed you about Contamination Boxed Set?

Same Zombie story. It does start to hint at what is causing the epidemic. Chapter 18! Up to that point anyone could have written the book that watches or reads Zombie life after death books.

Has Contamination Boxed Set turned you off from other books in this genre?

No I really like Johnathan Maberry. There is action and suspense that keeps you wanting more. I started feeling like I was a walking dead listening to this book.

What didn’t you like about Troy Duran’s performance?

Very monotone. He does have some variation in his voice with the child and a dying person but all and all monotone. I will probably avoid this narrator.

What reaction did this book spark in you? Anger, sadness, disappointment?

    DISAPPOINTMENT

    Any additional comments?

Don't waste your time downloading this book. I would have found the Wall Street Journal more exciting and suspenseful.

In American Reset, the final chapter of the Economic Collapse Chronicles, the ultimate contest between liberty and tyranny reaches the apex. The Bair family and their neighbors learn the true value of community as they rely on each other to survive the war and the effects of the financial meltdown. Will the collapse bring an oppressive regime that enslaves the American people, or will the patriots prevail and guide the country back to a place of freedom, peace and prosperity?

Where does American Reset rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

This is in the top 20 % of 5 years of listening.

What was one of the most memorable moments of American Reset?

The greed of Americans in crisis. We see on the news how greed and unlawfulness occurs when there is a disruption of civil order.

Have you listened to any of Kevin Pierce’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

First listen to his narration. Listened to the entire series. He makes the book as an enjoyable listen. Great character voicing and emotions.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

The book made me angry because I can see our country turning on itself at a time of need. We see on the national news stealing from stores, rioting in the streets, gang violence, and the collapse of major cities in our country. Detroit, Cleveland, and now Ferguson.

    Any additional comments?

I enjoyed the how the author interpreted the creation of the constitution. There is a lot of Christian / Jewish biblical reference and scripture. It isn't politically correct to reference scripture. I have read a lot of reviews putting the series down because of the religious structure of this story. It concerns me that there are readers that were so turned off by the story on the basis of beliefs.
