This might be the best of the series! I love all the books, but this is the one I will be listening to over and over. No information overload, but don't make the mistake of thinking it's slow. The pace is good with a range of things packed into the story: Jace and The Mob, Jace and Cassius, Jace craving kangaroo meat, etc. As usual, the supporting cast is strong, and is not eclipsed. Don't skip this one!

Listening to a book three times isn't unusual for me. Reading one 3 times in 3 days is a first. It's a great series, and this book has emotion, lot's of action, and Kate's past coming into play.Raudman brings *all* the characters to life. She makes it easy to forget that there is only one person narrating.

Just like Firelight, Moonglow is great from any angle: Good story, great characters, a lot of emotion, and the world continues to evolve. Moira Quirk is a name that puts me at ease. Have no doubt. Narration is never an issue with her. If you like the genre, pick this up. Winterblaze is being released next month. Can't wait for Poppy's story!

This was a solid story. Characters held my interest, had an unforeseen ending, and the narrator did a good job. Well done, but not great enough to entice me to listen to it again.

Another great addition to the series, The Duke's Perfect Wife includes Hart's political ambitions, assassination attempts, possible blackmail, some nice moments with the kids, Ian playing an important role in Hart's HEA, and yes, Eleanor is perfect. A lot going on and the romance doesn't get lost. Very well done.

DD Barant does an amazing job with building the world of this series with details and consistency in his logic. This becomes a slight problem with this book. There is a another alternate world introduced (for this book only), and Barant provides details of the population and culture, but also a whole story of creation. It's brilliant, but too much information to process while listening. There are small sections that can be glossed over while listening that won't take anything away from the story.
It's not my favorite in the series, but Killing Rocks is still strong on entertainment, and should not be skipped. Background on Jace and why she, in particular, was chosen to be brought to this alternate world is included and important to the overall series arc.

After enjoying the first book in the series, and being a bit disappointed with the second, I was thrilled that this third book was back on track. I still love Ian and Beth, and was glad they made appearances; however, they certainly didn't distract me from Cam and Ainsley. Once again, the author puts in conflict from sources that are not seen in typical historical romances. Very well done!

Alexia Tarabotti, Lady Maccon, has settled into domestic bliss. Of course, being Alexia, such bliss involves integrating werewolves into London High society, living in a vampire's second best closet, and coping with a precocious toddler who is prone to turning supernatural willy-nilly. Even Ivy Tunstell's acting troupe's latest play, disastrous to say the least, cannot put a damper on Alexia's enjoyment of her new London lifestyle.

Timeless wrapped up the Parasol Protectorate Series perfectly. Mysteries were solved, additional twists continued, all my favorite characters survived, and a two year old (who spoke in sounds, one word answers, and occasionally simple sentences) was introduced. Prudence was played as well as any of the other characters. With little material to work with, the author/narrator brought her to life with a very definite personality. Timeless not only wrapped up the series, but was a well thought out lead in to the next series. Start with Souless, read the series in order, and enjoy. I look forward to further audiobooks by Gail Carriger, and hope that Emily Gray narrates them as well.

A decade ago, the Marquess of Bourne was cast from society with nothing but his title. Now a partner in London's most exclusive gaming hell, the cold, ruthless Bourne will do whatever it takes to regain his inheritance - including marrying perfect, proper Lady Penelope Marbury. A broken engagement and years of disappointing courtships have left Penelope with little interest in a quiet, comfortable marriage, and a longing for something more. How lucky that her new husband has access to an unexplored world of pleasures.

I love this author and wish that her "Love by Numbers" trilogy was available on audio. A Rogue by Any Other Name was a solid, well done historical romance, which delivered exactly what is expected: sighs and a lovely HEA. A good listen. Having said that, I think the epilogue was better than the rest of the book. I've pre-ordered the next book in the series and think (based on the epilogue alone) that it will be even better than Rogue. It's an automatic purchase if it comes out as an audiobook.

Atticus O’Sullivan, last of the Druids, lives peacefully in Arizona, running an occult bookshop and shape-shifting in his spare time to hunt with his Irish wolfhound. His neighbors and customers think that this handsome, tattooed Irish dude is about twenty-one years old - when in actuality, he’s twenty-one centuries old. Not to mention: He draws his power from the earth, possesses a sharp wit, and wields an even sharper magical sword known as Fragarach, the Answerer. Unfortunately, a very angry Celtic god wants that sword, and he’s hounded Atticus for centuries....

Would you consider the audio edition of Hounded to be better than the print version?

I've read the ebook. It was good enough to hook me for the series and listen to the audio sample. Luke Daniels far exceeded my expectations, and I'm glad that he's the narrator for the rest of the series. I won't re-read the ebook, but I'll be listening to this audiobook many times over. Great story with a cast of characters that I immediately loved. None more than Oberon.
