Wonderful story line. Just recently saw the movie for the first time and it made it even better. The cast of chacters was great all having an important role as oppose to one dominating over everyone else. Would highly recommend this for listening.
If this book went into greater details it might have been a better book
Not only were the stories very short but many were repeated again during the book
Very disappointed in the book overall and did not even finish listening to it. In all fairness this could have been written by an 8th or 9th grader. Very little time was spent researching each case.
The book was interesting and able to keep you going without getting slow in parts.
The Hawk books are great listening. The author has created a very interesting character in Lord Hawk and his cast of associates. Have enjoyed listening to all of the books involving this suspense writer and would highly recommend them to everyone.
Very believable plot and the possibilities of the things mentioned in the book make it even more enjoyable and intertaining. Really enjoy the sense of humor the author puts into John Cory. This author has a great ablity to make the plot intriging but humorous when appropriate. Would highly recommend all of his John Cory books.
Good book. Was able to keep me interested in the story line and not fall to far off a believable track. Good plot and the characters were enjoyable to follow. Would recommend for listening
This book was a little to unbelievable for a person who enjoys books about government security actions. I know its fiction but it was to far away from reality to be enjoyed.
The author has written a number of great books using John Cory as his main chacter. I enjoy the sense of humor along with insight the author has into security issues our country is involved in. Would recommend all of these books to those who enjoy suspense novels.
Not at all what I expected. I had hope to hear more about the evidence in the case as oppose to hearing Furman complain about how he was treated. It's OK to talk about it once but it's littered throughout the book. Should not been called Murder in Brentwood for the author spent a tremendous amount of time complaining about how poorly everyone else did but him. Would not recommend this book to anyone who wanted to know more about the case than was in the press already
