Would you recommend this book to a friend? Why or why not?

Yes, it has a lot of key information to the triology. But my least favorite of the three. This is possibly because I read the first and third. I love audiobooks but the narrator did a poor job of starting and stopping. I would recommend she finish the chapter because I could tell where she stopped recording then started again.

Who was your favorite character and why?

Of course its Katniss and Peeta

Did the narration match the pace of the story?

yes and no. The narrator was great in the voices of most of the characters but a bit too emphatic when it came to Katniss. It really felt like she was whining instead of finding her resolve to be strong.

If this book were a movie would you go see it?

probably not, 90% of books made into movies are terrible

In the astonishing work by the author of the best sellers The Robber Bride and The Handmaid's Tale, Margaret Atwood takes listeners back in time and into the life and mind of one of the most enigmatic and notorious women of the 19th century.

This book wasn’t for you, but who do you think might enjoy it more?

I would probably enjoy this book if I were to read it.

What was most disappointing about Margaret Atwood’s story?

I am still going to read the book because I will like the story

Would you be willing to try another one of Elizabeth McGovern’s performances?

No, her voice wasn't pleasant. The accent was too much for a story set in Toronto, and I disliked the wimpering, nasal tone to her voice.

You didn’t love this book... but did it have any redeeming qualities?

    Yes I love Margaret Atwood
