This is a tale we have read about and studyied in History. BUT the Narrator of this book brings it alive. She is talented, smooth and diverse.

I could listen to her read my grocery list and she would have my full attention.

A beautiful story. I started listening and could not stop. A story of women and their families who give up so much for others children.

This book was so strange.

It began very nicely a wonderful story of a young woman adjusting to adoption and differences between her adoptive up bringing and her natural birth parents. It began as funny, heart warming and humorous.

Then it just goes off in so many different ways it gets strange,outrageous, weird and confusing. It had random story lines shooting off here and there.

The poilitcal bashing was VERY offensive. I wish I could have only spent half a credit becasue that was about all I wished I had listened to, half.

A well writtne story, spanning all age groups. I REALLY enjoyed this book and never wanted it to end.

This is such a wonderful story about so many lives that touch each other..sadly the narrator was so horrible it was all ruined. The narrator rushed reading the book in places it was hard to follow.

It is hours and hours and hours of the main Character and the main Villain lusting after each other while hating each other. The book was boring and simple.

Wonderful Heartwarming story of Immigration in America and a family that endures and survives.

The narrator was so irritating with that southern accent I never got past the first few minutes. I am so bummed I paid money for this book. Don't bother,even on sale it is beyond listenable.

I had never listened to this author before.
The BOOK was fantastic! The Characters were WONDERFUL! I just kept thinking this would be a great TV series BUT it is a GREAT Book. I am going to look for more by this author. I would listen to this over and over again. Real lives and real crime drama.

I LOVED this book. Suspenseful with just the right twists and turns.
