    I HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!! This audiobook should not be missed! Penny's narration is spectacular!!! I bought the hardcover book when it first came out. It sat on my nightstand for a couple of months until I discovered the Audible version.....I listed to the sample recording and I KNEW that I must buy the audio version. Boy was I right! This was a terrific book -- filled with funny, heart warming, interesting stories and characters. Love Penny!

    Elizabeth McGovern was exceptional! Her narration was spot on -- she was perfect!!!

    The story was compelling for anyone who loves fiction or, more specifically, historical fiction. Unforunately, as so often happens, the story lost steam in the last quarter. Overall, I enjoyed the book, but as an audio book junkie, I have to say that McGovern's narration was flawless!
