    Warning: You may have a huge, invisible spider living in your skull. This is not a metaphor. You will dismiss this as ridiculous fearmongering. Dismissing things as ridiculous fearmongering is, in fact, the first symptom of parasitic spider infection - the creature secretes a chemical into the brain to stimulate skepticism, in order to prevent you from seeking a cure. That’s just as well, since the “cure” involves learning what a chain saw tastes like. You can’t feel the spider, because it controls your nerve endings.

    Would you consider the audio edition of This Book Is Full of Spiders to be better than the print version?

    I did not read the print version of this book however, I did read David Wong's previous offering "John Dies at the End". The narration does add a little something extra to the writer's humor.


    What did you like best about this story?

    I liked that the book did not take itself too seriously and that the writer allowed the story to be told from the perspective of all the different characters including the dog!


    What does Nick Podehl bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

    You might miss some of the more subtle humor without his narration.


    If you could rename This Book Is Full of Spiders, what would you call it?

    The name is actually great! I would not change it!

    This book was a wonderful companion on a 9 hour solo road trip!

    I might. It was actually pretty exciting.

    Well I'm a horror girl through and through so Cell by Stephen king is my best refrence.n


    Would you listen to another book narrated by Jay Snyder?

    Maybe his accents sucked pretty bad but overall I think he did a great job.

    If you like violent, macho cliche-ishly good action movies you've come to the right place!

    Not the type of book I usually read but it still managed to keep me engaged for the duration. If you can find it on sale grab it!

    Would you listen to Gerald's Game again? Why?

    I would not listen to this book again. I love Stephen King. In my eyes he can do no wrong. Though well written, this story didn't wrap me up and wisk me away like most of his novels and the ending really left me hanging.


    What other book might you compare Gerald's Game to and why?

    I have not read another book quite like this one.


    What do you think the narrator could have done better?

    The narrator did a fine job with the material.
