"Not worth the time to read"
Danielle Steel's name alone sold this book, anyone else would have been rejected and advised to give up writing.
"A true & complete wastw of time"
I love you...I hate you...I love me...I hate me...I'm strong...I'm a wimp OK that's it, no need to read further.
"FASTEN YoUR SEAT BELTS PLEASE!!!!"
OMG!!! Now I want to see a movie of this fantastic, exciting, and thrilling Si-Fi extravaganza
"If it ain't broke, don't fix it!"
Loved the story, and Jenny Sterlin. I don't think a second narrator for Holmes is necessary. Jenny does such a good job of portraying Holmes, the other voice is off putting.
"Attention all lovers of Sherlock!"
OMG!! I love these stories. I love Holmes in every manifestation be it books, movies, TV, audio. These are marvelous! I do not understand the author's opening disclaimers however, what is that about?
"A good cop can find a needle in a haystack."
I read one review of this book that said the author introduced a lot of unconnected characters, I think that's what cops do until they find the "one". I enjoyed the journey to the "one", as will any one who digs cops' procedures to find what can't be found.
"Not bad, cute actually and entertaining"
I didn't know this was a kid's book. I realized that in short order and was irritated, but it turned out to be entertaining and worth the listen.
"Absolutely riveting."
The end of war segment was horrifying and exhausting and mesmerizing. The assassination plot was amazing in it's intricacy. All this, without cell phones and computers or any other electronic assist. Boys will kill each other, even with rocks if necessary.
I loved finding out more about Mary Lincoln and other females of the time and incident.
