    Like every other hobbit, Bilbo Baggins likes nothing better than a quiet evening in his snug hole in the ground, dining on a sumptuous dinner in front of a fire.     I have listened to this and the the following trilogy on CD at a relatives house when I was young. Now, after the movies have come and gone, I have joined Audible and have waited impatiently for one of the greatest, genre defining epics of all time to become available for North American customers. Well, my North American friends, the wait is finally over!

    This is a story that has stood the test of time, and has encouraged imaginations around the world for many years. I can not wait to go there and back again one more time. Even if you have read or listened to this story before, one credit is a small price to pay for this amazing story and its successors.
