Charlie and Oliver Caruso are brothers who work at Greene & Greene, a private bank so exclusive you need two million dollars just to be a client. But when the door of success slams in their faces, they're faced with an offer they can't refuse: three million dollars in an abandoned account. No one knows it exists, and even better, it doesn't belong to anyone.

    "Lame and wussy ending"
    Overall

I have read all of Meltzer books which were newer and the story lines great. This one started out pretty good and an easy read. However, I do agree with others on the charaters were a little lame and predictable. If I had read this book before I had Meltzer's newer one I don't think I would have read another one. I will keep on reading Meltzer his new ones are great. I recommend reading Meltzer's newer ones. I gave it a 3 because of some of the creative writing and Scott Bricks narration.

In a crowded courtroom in Mississippi, a jury returns a shocking verdict against a chemical company accused of dumping toxic waste into a small town's water supply, causing the worst "cancer cluster" in history. The company appeals to the Mississippi Supreme Court, whose nine justices will one day either approve the verdict or reverse it.

    "Political Drama"
    Overall

I have loved other Grisham books however, this one definatley different still slack in a lot of areas. For a political drama it wasn't bad but being a mystery or suspenceful didn't even come close. I agree with the other reviewer that we have all heard this story line some where in the past. It was a little creative but very little. I think Grisham is running out of things to write. I will be more reluctant to buy another by the same author without reviews. Luckily I was able to get this on sale. I guess I got what I paid for. If you looking for a Political Drama this is it. If you want Mystery and Suspence look for something else.

    Overall

It is a great change of pace with a different narrator. But I love Rene voice always have. I listen to several books a week. This book is a great listen too. Highly recommended!!!!. The Tibitan is part of the story that make this incrediable and workable. It gives it it's edge.

It's a fear more paralyzing than falling. More terrifying than absolute darkness. More horrifying than anything you can imagine. It's the one fear you cannot escape, no matter where you run...no matter where you hide. It's the fear of yourself. It's real. It can happen to you. And facing it can be deadly.

The over all book was great. Koontz did it again. Giving full characteration and not missing a beat. It felt a little slow in places however it gives the second half that much more life. This is worth purchasing.

This was a great book started and put off everything so I could finish it in one day. I loved the outlay just when I thought it was to end just to start up again. This is my first book by Preston & Child. I look forward to other titles by them it always great to find a new author. I almost gave this a five but not quite.

Accompanied by the newest member of the Women's Murder Club, Yuki Castellano, Lieutenant Lindsay Boxer probes deeper into the incidents. Could these cases just be appalling coincidences? Or is a maniac playing God with people's lives? When someone close to the Women's Murder Club begins to exhibit the same frightening symptoms, Lindsay fears no one is safe.

    Overall

I love the "Women's Murder Club" that is the only reason I gave this one 2 stars.

1-3 series were great the 4th one which was my first James Patterson book was pretty good, however, not as good as the first 3. This one was done very poorly and it almost seems he was pushed for time and threw this together just to get another book on the shelves. I read all the other reviews and still needed to read since it is the 5th in the Series. Two stories in one which I feel the first story just takes up space and time and lacks in everything. The second story very predictable and I agree the ending very rush probably just like his timeline to get another book on the shelves. This was a big let down. I have been waiting for months to get the next "Women's Murder Club" This was a very badly written story and no background on any of the new charaters, weak plots, no imagination at all. The one thing I like is Lindsay and her Dog.

I do look forward to the Next in the Series and to be a Great One just like his Past books were, if not I may have to resign reading any more of James Patterson.

When a dam breaks in Arapahoe Junction, Colorado, photojournalist Alex Graham is at the site doing more than just snapping pictures - she is in the mud with a shovel digging for survivors. Alex finds more than she bargained for. In one terrible instant, she is witness to a conspiracy that will stun a nation. The official story is just a cover-up for a truth so frightening, so unthinkable, anyone who threatens to reveal it must be silenced. Forever.

    "A Very Good Listen"
    Overall

I enjoyed the book it was easy to keep interest in it. I have been listening to Iris Johansen Abridged versions and I love Kate Burton The unabridged version with Burnadette Dunne does the job equally well. I didn't give 5 stars cause I thought Alex was a little on the Wimpy side considering what she had been through in her previous camera shoots. Other than that it was a Good Read.
