Yes- If they have read the previous 2 books "The Potato Factory" & "Tommo & Hawk" this is essential to round out the story
It was good to see how the Solomon dynasty ended however i felt it was a bit clipped and rushed
Humphrey's narration was excellent he is by far one of my favorites. Throughout the trilogy his narration rarely waivered and the characters were easily identifiable.
The ending was terrible for me and made me feel like it had all been for nothing, this may have been the point, however i would have been just as happy if Bryce has taken some licence
The Potato Factory and Tommo & Hawk were great. I did feel coming to the last third of this book like the writer had got bored of his own story and rushed the ending to finish it. In my view i would still recommend the trilogy as a whole and Solomons song as rounding out the first two books
Absolutely i will read this book again when the next instalment is getting close to release. i have really enjoyed all of Ken work and this was no disappointment.
The character development and attention to detail for the period was superb, i really can’t wait for the final instalment in the millennium series and i am sure i will be left feeling hollow and wanting more when it is finished as I have with Ken’s other great series.
They were all great and i have enjopyed all of Johns work on Ken's books, John kept the characters voices consistent throughout the book, if i had to pick a faviourite it would be Ethel Leckwith
Not really the whole book was emotional up and down
Cetainly a must read
For my friends into scifi this is a nice easy read that has a decent story. Whilst it was written for teens at 40 i got enjoyment out of the story. Some of the concepts may not be appropriate for just teens.
It was as expected with a little twist
by far the best part was the actual "Hunger Games"
It has been made into a movie and i have watched it. As with most movies made from novels it was not as good. If i have not read the book yet i like to watch the trailer of a movie so i can visulaise the characters a little more.
The next two books in the series were also pretty good
