"A Really horrible book"
His first book "How to Win Friends & Influence People" is a really good Book, however "How to Stop Worrying and Start Living" is a very bad book, i am sorry i wasted a credit on it.
"This book will only make the author Money"
This book will only make the author and the publisher money, in fact this book will waste your time and money.
Do not expect this book to make you any money, and do not expect that it will teatch you how to advertice online, there is no ideas about how to use search engines or anything like that at all.
The author promises that you will learn “How to Use Attention-Getting Online Marketing to Increase Your Revenue” but it does nothing of the kind, however it does tells you how to annoy publishers and how to try to sell stories to magazines. It doesn’t say the least about how to market anything online at all, it does tell you some boring stories about how great the author is and what wonderful “childish”ideas he thinks he gets,
"Not worth your Credit."
I had high hopes that this book would explain the basics about the subject, and maybe some examples of conditional thinking patterns or something similar, instead the book goes on and on and on about terminology and standards, and about this and that guy who made this and that theory about the subject, there is very little or close to nothing about the science of Evolutionary Psychology.
Insted I Would recommend that you Read “How We Decide- Johan Lehrer” and “Predictable Irrational- Dan Ariely” and then form your own opinions about evolutional psychology
"Great book, nice narrating"
its a classic and a must read.
"Great book, poor narrating"
the narrator makes Tom sound like a little girl, that's really annoying.
"Highly Recommended"
A nice selection of social skills to improve the quality of your life.
"How to stretch a 2 page pamphlet."
it's a rip off, and a lot of going around In circles, you lose attention every 5 minutes or so, and the actual results of the <<7 million dollar, cutting-edge brain scan study of over 2000 people from around the world>> or at least the very VERY small parts of it that we get to hear about would fit nicely in to a 2 page pamphlet, I guess they only show the real results to big corporations for a big price.
"Not a self-help book for the doubtful believer"
If you want a book that helps you decide if you are a believer, or if you are an atheist then The God Delusion is not the right book for you, Its more like a debate book, Dawkins speaks about earlier discussions between him and various religious believers, however in part 2 there are a some helpful facts for the recovering religious addict, But it is more like a handbook for the already established atheists, I would recommend Sam Harris The end of Faith for the addict, and once you break free of religion and start to enjoy life for what it is, then you are ready to read The God Delusion
"It really is a short story of nearly everything."
I love this book, and i love the narrator William Roberts :o)
"You must read this book"
It's not really a self help book at all, it's more like a guide to the human brain, if you ever wonder why you think you are so much different then everybody else, this book will explain why you are not and why you are almost exactly like the rest of us, it also tells us what brain functions make us believe in religion, and so much more, I rate this book a must read, even if you have no knowledge about brain anatomy and functions.
The book offers some insight into early philosophy and it draws parallels to modern brain research, but that part is just publicity.
Other must read books Phantoms in the brain Ramachandran, origin of species Darwin
