What did you love best about The Alchemist?

The fact, that diamonds of life wisdoms were wrapped up in a beautiful, cute and easy little story.

What was one of the most memorable moments of The Alchemist?

When he, the boy, took the opportunities in the crystal shop.

Have you listened to any of Jeremy Irons’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

No I haven't, but he performs wonderful.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Yes, but then I want to listen to it again and again, in bits, so I can "get it" .

    Any additional comments?

This book is on the same line as "the richest man in Babylon " and " Who moved my cheese"

    • Whispersync for Voice-ready

In 1998, three Harvard Business School graduates - two men and one woman - turned down six-figure salaries at big corporations, bet on themselves, and launched their own new companies. By their 10-year reunion, their audacity had paid huge dividends. They'd made many millions of dollars, created hundreds of jobs and left their mark on the world. The Intelligent Entrepreneur tells the compelling and instructive story of how these three young founders did it.

    Lorena says: "HBS promotional material"
    "For the hardcore Entrepreneur"
Would you say that listening to this book was time well-spent? Why or why not?

Well, I have to say, that whiles I thought that I am sort of an entrepreneur, because I run my own little business, I learned that I am in no way in the league of this book. It was way over my head. So it was a waste of my time now, but it may be useful later.

What do you think your next listen will be?

    Not sure yet

What three words best describe Fred Berman and L. J. Ganser ’s voice?

    wonderful , clear and articulate

If this book were a movie would you go see it?

If it is a movie, rather that a documentary , then yes.

    • Whispersync for Voice-ready

THE LAND OF PAINTED CAVES concludes the story of Ayla, her mate Jondalar, and their little daughter, Jonayla, taking readers on a journey of discovery and adventure as Ayla struggles to find a balance between her duties as a new mother and her training to become a Zelandoni - one of the Ninth Cave community's spiritual leaders and healers.

    "Soap Opera"
This book wasn’t for you, but who do you think might enjoy it more?

Some one that has not read the first story.

What could Jean M Auel have done to make this a more enjoyable book for you?

Not gone in to little household and baby holding details,
but have a confrontation, meeting and understanding with the Clan.

How could the performance have been better?

If the voice would have been a younger one.

You didn’t love this book... but did it have any redeeming qualities?

Change the reader of the book, and do not make it sound like a sunday dinner meeting.
