"Well written, performed and fascinating"
This makes our recent financial history something between a spy novel and paulson biography. If you are interesting in contemporary issues and how our world is currently being formed READ THIS.
"Great for everyone"
Brilliant job by a brilliant writer, He presents the analytically world of baseball in a way that the average soap opera loving housewife will find positively enthralling.
"Good-ish"
I am an NPR Addict and knowing that Lisa Napoli works at NPR really raised my expectations. I feel that this just lasts a little to long. I really could do without the last fifth of the book.
"enjoyed it but compared to freakonomics"
Its sad when someone writes something really brilliant and must continually compete with the past. A good audio book that is well read but no where as good as its predecessor.
"very interesting"
Well written with brilliant highly memorable colorful characters. My only qualm is just a little to objective with some of these anti heroes or anti villains.
"apparently checklists arent interesting"
An interesting subject but poorly written and really boring. Takes the entire book to basically say "Doctors should use checklists to limit their mistakes". 8 words.
"Like an unfunny Michael Moore Film"
Super depressing and fact filled. I prefer to be oblivious.
"enchanting and funny portrait of american history"
Sarah manages to make old news topical. She is capable of relating American History with American news all the while making Anne Hutchinson a girl youd like to see drunk.
"great"
Fascinating use of history and science in covering sport.
"nahhh"
This is a valiant if not vain attempt at trying to look into happiness. There is a bit of science mixed in with information but mostly self serving stories about someone trying to get attention for being happy. Unfortunately I didn't find this uplifting and although pedantic I didn't learn much. Regretful purchase.
