Great book! Lessons in leadership with a sense of humor. Creative characters and excellent narration.
If you're planning a trip a trip to Florence or Venice, this could be the book for you. Otherwise, save your credit.
The first few books of the Safehold series were fantastic -- I would sit in my car just to finish a chapter. How things have changed. Bad narration and slow story progression are killing the series.
Slow and convoluted start kills this book. Could have been good if I could have stayed awake.
Black Jack has got his mojo back! Loved the book. Action from the start to the end. Can't wait for the next book.
The book is cut short so abruptly, I kept checking my iPhone audible application to check if there was something wrong. The book could have rewarded listeners with (at least) an end chapter full of action. Is that too much to ask?
I like Preston, and expected a better book. I didn't like the lame premise, disjointed story and shallow characters. Narration was fine though.
Excellent narrator but David Baldacci seems to be slipping. Premise good but end was a let down.
Damn, another excellent Jack Reacher novel! Starts a bit slow but ends in a frenzy of action.
The Lost Symbol is no Da Vinci Code. The characters are shallow and the plot is predictable. Even Robert Langdon, who I loved in The Da Vinci Code, seems lost.
If it were not for my long commute, I would probably not have had the patience to finish this book.
