This book is boring. My first Steven King book and I am so disappointed!
I couldn't make the transitions from one story to the next, one author to the next very well. Didn't complete the listening. I use it sometimes during the interim of waiting to purchase a new book.
After watching the movie countless times, I decided that I would listen to the book. It's a slightly different story and so well done that it was very enjoyable to listen too. Little changes made it not so predictable that added to it's engagement. One of King's best!!
I love the intrigue and the intelligent manner of presenting the mystery. Never shoddy.
After watching the movie and then listening to the book then watching the movie again did I understand Capote's involvement with the murderers' stories. Very intriguing!!
Not fair for me to write about it -- I didn't finish it. It's a very adolescent book.
This book has given me an insight in many different areas that I couldn't have gotten elsewhere....Thanks!
I did enjoy listening to this book but the ending did it a disservice. I was intrigued by the shifting periods, cultures and classes but I felt the writer became somewhat lazy in the numerous contrived character summations. I was a little relieved when the book ended.
The narration was excellent!
It's amazing to see the different directions people will go to in their conceptions of a another person's behavior.
Truly enjoyed this book -- Narrator did a great job!
Wonderful use of the English Language!
Very intriguing. Want to learn more about the war in the Pacific.
