So when i began to listen to the house of night series i wasnt really expecting much. No offense. i really wasnt into the whole teeny bopper novels but a friend insisted! Soo now after finishing the third book i am super impressed with this series so far especially this last book. The concept of Vampire in the series is great there is so much going on in this book that i literally could not stop listening until the end. Those of you on the fence.... this is a great listen! Would definitely recommend it. But, start at the beginning!

Jaqueline Carey has done it again! I was a little apprehensive when i found out that the characters of her previous two trilogies, which i have grown to love, were no longer in this new one.But i have fallen in love with Moirin and cant wait for the next book!!! I love Anne Flosnik as the narrator in this audiobook, she can take you through the pages and into the story with her voice and its amazing!!!

Dead in the family seemed like a filler book. It could have been tacked on to another one of her books and it would have been fine. The storyline was simple which can be great but this was too simple there was nothing to it. Hopefully the next book will be like her previous ones... :)
