Great storyline albeit predictable. Not what I would call erotica but still worth the read/listen.

I was very excited to read/listen to the newest installment in the Mortal Instruments. Cassandra Clare did an excellent job of continuing the story. I was enthralled the entire time! The narrators were good enough - however, while I love me some Chuck Bass, Ed Westwick left much to be desired. Much of the time he sounded as though he had been out partying all night and smoking too many cigarettes...Molly Quinn was delightful aside from the fact that she consistantly mispronounced story specific words.

I loved the entire series. I cannot wait until audible produces the rest of the books in the series. The author does an excellent job of developing the characters. I really enjoyed that she kept characters from previous books up-to-date and continued developing them even after "their" books ended. Narrator does a good job. Like I said LOVED IT!

The narrator was horrible! I kept hoping that she, that the book would get better...it never did...sorry I wasted the credit.

I really liked the storyline however, I found that the authors tended to be wordy and overly repetitive. The narrator has a raspy voice and difficulty keeping up with the changing storyline.

Author did an excellent job of developing characters throughout the series. Just enough love, sex, intrigue and turmoil. A little predictible, of course, but still a great read! Narrator is a little slow and drawn out BUT you get used to him. The only downside is that Audible does not offer all of the books in the series - I'm off to B&N to find the rest!

This was a nice prequel which helped put some of the pieces of the series together. It was too short though. Narrator was good but a little slow in the reading.

I loved the entire series. I can't wait for the next book. I am desperate to learn what happens with Georgina and Seth! The writer and the narrator did an excellent job with this series. The series is well written and each book further develops the characters. Great balance of emotion, intrigue and passion.

Man I had such high hopes for this series. In this first book it seemed as though there was a good storyline. Sadly the second book has the same storyline and I realized somewhere between the two that the author's lack of imagination was more than I could stand. BOOOOO HIIISSSSSS!

This series could have been so much better IF the author had more imagination. I wanted to like the series. The idea of 18 books to read about developing characters was very exciting. This is the second book and almost exactly like the first book - OOPS! we accidentally met - OOPS! How have I lived 1500 years without you - OOPS! I would dies if I lost you - OOPS! Let's get married and live happily ever after! I think I would poke my eyes out if I had to read another 16 books with the same storyline!
