i really enjoyed her account of the tremendous behind the scenes work that went into the hot cauldron of US foreign policy during the 8yrs of the GWB term. Very insightful, particularly given her even handed and clear retelling of the chain of events that started even before 9/11 and through the isreali/hezbollah conflict and even into the Arab spring. gained a much better understanding of the mindset that lead us into the iraq quagmire. i really learned alot about US foreign policy and enjoyed the human touch that she added to what could have been a dense topic.
a very candid personal account of writer's struggle through her personal valley of a broken marriage. wonderfully and insightfully written. even handed and fair. very touching and also uplifting. even though i do not share this personal experience, it helped me to understand better others who have traveled the road of divorce
it could be because of my medical background that I found this book starting up a bit slow. However, it was fairly well developed and half way through I finally got wrapped up in the story and the characters. Nice and tidy wrap up also. well written overall.
