This book at first struck me as having gratuitous sex and vulgarity. And it's a lot more graphic than is necessary. And the pacing is rather slow. But, it has an intresting plot and subplots. Layers of intrigue and deception that make it rather addictive. I just wish it would hurry up a little and reduce the sex scenes. Overall, I liked it.

Then, you'd probably like this. It's clever, quick, and fun. I bought this instead of using my credits and I thought it was definitely worth it.

This book is more an adventure than a mystery, and that suits me fine. It's fun and entertaining. The characters are charming, even Emerson. It's a real joy to listen to on the drive home.

I've heard both O'Mally and Rosenblat, and I prefer O'Mally over Rosenblat. O'Mally can create voices for various characters that you forget it's one person reading this. Rosenblat has a voice that makes everyone sound like a 50 year old female smoker.

WOW! This book is great! It's filled with adventure, excitement and a dash of romance that isn't overly soppy. The swordplay is descriptive and realistic, and uses words and descriptions that many a fencer will recognize. The villans are dasterdly, the heroes are tenacious, the locale is breathtaking. The characters are vibrant and intresting. Listening to this book made my commute feel like I was 7 years old and riding the Pirates of the Carribean. I highly recommend this book.

Wow! What a fun book! It was kind of like a modern day Indiana Jones adventure. Filled with suprises and turns, this book kept me on the edge of my seat. It sure made a lengthy commute more enjoyable.

It plays on christian mythology without being too religous. And some of the points it brings up, seem valid. Like many good stories it mixes a little reality with fantasy. So, as long as you remember that this book is just a story and not suggesting it is "reality" you should be okay.
