No, the narrator's attempts to do the male voices were strained. They should have used a male to co-narrate given all the male parts. Her female voices were just as strained and way too exaggerated.

A bit way too predictable to be interesting. The least interesting aspect was all the played out ridiculous family drama released in the middle of a hostage crisis. It was more like a page from a teen diary or a lonely pill popping housewife drama than anything. Way too much detailed description about meaningless subjects.

Her voice compliments all of these stories. As usual, she delivers Kate's words in the most addictive way leaving you listening for hours. They would not be same without Caroline.

This is one of my favorite narrators. Her voice is always so perfect for the part. I like that she doesn't try to imitate the male voice and spoil the flow. She is a natural choice.

Absolutely loved it. Cried a little at the end. Nicholas Sparks does not disappoint. The narrator was a smooth comfortable listen. Highly recommended.

I like the author's description of the scenario, although in a few sections it was too detailed. You can see the island, the dogs and the woods while you listen. The narrator does a bad male voice and a bit too simplistic in her tones. All in all, a nice romance novel with an expected ending.
