    What could have made this a 4 or 5-star listening experience for you?

    I am very disappointed that I paid money for a thirty minute introduction, and not one word of Spanish was spoken or taught. There was nothing in the blurb that told me I was buying an introduction. It should have been included in the first lesson rather than a separate audio book. I feel rather ripped off.


    What could Pimsleur have done to make this a more enjoyable book for you?

    Don't charge for the instructions, include that in your first lesson


    Would you be willing to try another one of the narrator’s performances?

    I have no issue with the narrator


    If you could play editor, what scene or scenes would you have cut from Spanish Phase 1, Unit 01-05?

    When James Bowen found an injured, ginger street cat curled up in the hallway of his sheltered accommodation, he had no idea just how much his life was about to change. James was living hand to mouth on the streets of London and the last thing he needed was a pet. Yet James couldn't resist helping the strikingly intelligent tom cat, whom he quickly christened Bob. He slowly nursed Bob back to health and then sent the cat on his way, imagining he would never see him again. But Bob had other ideas.

    Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

    I would recommend this book to any of my friends who have ever had a connection with an animal. This is a delightful and simple story of two beings finding each other and affecting each others' lives


    What did you like best about this story?

    It took me a little while to get used to the narrator, the style was simple and casual. I enjoyed the imagery of Bob perched atop shoulders, travelling with him to work unperturbed.


    Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

    This story made me smile a lot, recollecting pets long since past. I have a soft spot for ginger cats
