"Bleak, Bloody ... AWESOME !"
This is yet another wonderfully gruesome tale from King. Blood guts ... and dog drool, got to love that. The story was told well and with good emotion but the the narrator (Lorna Raver) made some strange choices in the voices which she gave to the characters . Everyone sounded very old . All in all though , good stuff!!

"King/Bachman channels Orwell, Brilliantly !!"
Seen the movie? Don't expect anything to be the same. This book presents a similar dystopian view of the future (2025) , but with a much more Orwellian take on things than the film. I may be bias , being a King/Bachman fanatic, but I had a great time listening and look forward to the second read.
