After rescuing the President from kidnappers, Navy SEAL turned Secret Service agent Scot Harvath shifts his attentions to rooting out, capturing or killing all those responsible for the plot. As he prepares to close out his list, a bloody and twisted trail of clues points towards one man - the world's most feared, most ruthless terrorist, Hashim Nidal. Nidal has assembled an international league of Islamic terrorist networks in an ingenious plot to topple both Israel and America.

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

Exciting and interesting. Book is well researched.

What did you like best about this story?

The different ways he makes you think of terrorist attacks.

What does Armand Schultz bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

I enjoy narrarators that read the book and don't add their own twist by adding their own emphasis or slow the reading down.

    Any additional comments?

All of Thor's books are good

The four dead guards didn’t concern Mitch Rapp as much as the absence of the man they’d been paid to protect. Joe Rickman wasn’t just another foot soldier. For the last eight years Rickman had ran the CIA’s clandestine operations in Afghanistan. It was a murky job that involved working with virtually every disreputable figure in the Islamic Republic. More than a quarter billion dollars in cash had passed through Rickman’s hands during his tenure as the master of black ops and no one with a shred of sense wanted to know the details of how that money had been spent.

Would you listen to The Last Man again? Why?

No, but that is only because I never listen to a book twice.

What was one of the most memorable moments of The Last Man?

All of it, just having Rapp back is awesome.

    Any additional comments?

Flynn is one of the best and so is Guidall.

For the three years Shadow spent in prison, all he wanted was to get back to the loving arms of his wife and stay out of trouble for the rest of his life. But days before his release, he learns that his wife has been killed in an accident, and his world becomes a colder place.

What could have made this a 4 or 5-star listening experience for you?

Maybe I should have investigated more before I purchased it, but it was not worth finishing

Would you be willing to try another one of George Guidall’s performances?

Of course, he is one of the best narrators out there.

Peter V. Brett has won accolades from critics, fans and fellow authors alike for this riveting debut novel. The Warded Man features a world where demons stalk the night, hunting humans who have long forgotten the magic of their ancestors. But all is not lost, as some hold out hope that a savior will release humanity from the demons' terrifying reign.

Would you try another book from Peter V. Brett and/or Pete Bradbury?

Yes, the narrator did well and the story was interesting.

Do you think The Warded Man needs a follow-up book? Why or why not?

Yes, the book after it wasn't even a follow up. It was about a different area and I didn't even finish it.

When Clementine Kaye, archivist Beecher White's first childhood crush, shows up at the National Archives asking for his help, Beecher tries to impress her by showing her the secret vault where the president of the United States privately reviews classified documents. They accidentally happen upon a priceless artifact - and find themselves suddenly entangled in a web of deception, conspiracy, and murder.

Would you try another book from Brad Meltzer and/or Scott Brick?

From Brad yes, from Brick no. The way he adds his own cadence and inflection is annoying and difficult to over come.

Would you recommend The Inner Circle to your friends? Why or why not?

To read yes, but to listen, no.

Who would you have cast as narrator instead of Scott Brick?

Anyone except Brick or Dick Hill. The way they narrorate takes away from the books.

Was The Inner Circle worth the listening time?

    No

    Any additional comments?

Authors should really be involved more with the narroration of their books. This seems like an obvious conclusion, but I cannot believe that any accomplished author would listen to either of these narrorators read their book and be 100% satisfied.

Lee's surrender are devised to fulfill Lincoln's dream of healing a divided nation. But one man and his band of murderous accomplices are not appeased....
