This one was just okay. I kind of got a bit tired of Lena's constant whining. Waa Waambulance! She's so moody and just got on my last nerve!
There were a few comedic moments.
I'm sorry, but I just could not finish this book. There were a few comedic moments where I actually laughed out loud. Unfortunately, those moments were not enough to justify a higher rating from me.
Absolutely! It is a truly heartbreaking, heartwarming beautiful story.
The most memorable moment for me was the reunion of Miles & Rachael towards the end.
I loved this book! I love all of Colleen Hoover's work. She's awesome! Keep them coming!
Billy girl! She's a cutie pie!
When Mitch tells Mara that he loves her!
I laughed and cried.
The narrator was awesome!
Wow, I could not put this down. Great story and characters. There were funny moments as well as heart wrenching moments. Fabulous novel idea to incorporate the music within the storytelling! It worked wonderfully! Great job Ms. Hoover! You did not disappoint! Can't wait for your next one.
OMG! This was an intense Angsty Rollercoaster of a story. This guy is nuts and she's nuts for putting up with his crap! I thoroughly enjoyed every minute of it. Just be warned! This is 50 Shades on steroids without the BDSM! So, if you did not enjoy 50 then this one is not for you.
I read this story a few years back and really enjoyed it then but I have to say that it was truly a pleasure to listen to the narrated version. The story contained suspenseful, comedic, emotional, and of course romantic moments.
This is the first time I've listened to Stella Bloom's performance and must say I will definitely listen to her again. She did an outstanding job narrating this story! She brought across all the emotions perfectly, in my opinion, which really brought this story to life.
I can't wait to listened to the other books in this series!
Before Jamaica Lane ranks on the top 10 audiobooks I've listened to so far.
The narrator did a wonderful job narrating the story. She definitely conveyed the characters emotions really well. I loved the Scottish accent! This is a great follow up to the previous books in the series. I always enjoy hearing from the characters from previous books. This was really an enjoyable listen.
In this instance, I think the print version would have been easier to follow. It was quite confusing with the constant flashes of present, past, and who knows!
Eliminate a lot of unnecessary plot.
Overall, it was an okay book but I like the previous two books much better. Be aware, the end is a WTF moment.
I truly loved the emotions that emanated from Professor Emerson & Julianne. Also, how the author did a fantastic job tying up all the loose ends that remained in book 2. I also loved that in the end, Gabriel foresaw what the future held for them. I thought that was an important element for closure.
He brought the book to life! He has a wonderfully seductive voice that fits the character of Gabriel perfectly. However, I would have preferred a female narrator for Julianne's character.
I enjoyed all three books. However, I was not expecting the way it ended. Left me feeling quite horrible.
