While I thought the arguements for and against the proposted topic were well presented and concise, they failed to present a real definition for monogamy. It seemed to confuse the audience between Monogamy, monogamy, and serial monogamy. In the end, it wasn't a bad listen, but I would have felt a lot better about the vote result had they clearly defined just what was monogamy for the audience.

I am not sure if it's the reader's tone or the dialogue she was given, but I just don't see how two people so hostile to each other would pursue a relationship with each other. It just didn't make sense at all.

And that's got nothing to do with the title fitting the story that well, or that it's a cheesy romance. I kinda expect that from a Presents.

A good continuation of Jo's story. She's learning to embrace more of who she is. And Gabra Zackman's narration is wonderful as always.

I do recommend reading the series in order.

This was a good book, but you really need to have read the first two to understand the events and character growth.

This is a great series. Unfortunately, Audible has dropped the ball on this one. While they have books 1, 2, and 3... this is not book 4, it's book 5, and book 4 (The Last Apprentice: Attack of the Fiend) is currently found nowhere on the site.

So if you are going for the whole series be prepared to miss one, or read it in print.

Despite everyone else talking about Narration, I am complaining about it too. I'd say they should have at least had her listen to a bit of the books done by Gabra to get a feel for what the listeners would expect.

Also, this is the same reader as Rachel Vincent's Werecat series, and is reading exactly the same.
Which leads to me asking myself what Faith is doing in Sitia, and it's just darned distracting.

It is nice to visit Ylena's world again, but it's not as good as it was the first time around.

One of the previous reviewers mentioned that the narrator is just a bit too whiney for certain scenes for Kate. I agree.

Also, as a native Atlantan, I do wish they had found someone who could say kudzu correctly, or least caught when it was wrong.

The book itself is good and I am hoping more are done in audio, same narrator or not. Otherwise I'll have to spring for the paper copies for 3 and 4.

A good addition to the series. However, if you haven't read any of the series before, I would not start with this one.

And Marsters does a very nice job on the narration. I think he does a good job of capturing Harry's voice without the narration being distracting from the story itself. Always a plus in an audiobook.

It's a good story but slow. I found myself wishing it were print so I could skim right along and speed things along.

Perhaps it's because I read this book years ago when it was originally published but I feel like the narrator's voice is wrong for it. She made Sunshine sound more whining teen than just a serious young lady. Which is too bad, because I love the story.
