I most certainly would as at each listening there would be more detail gleaned from the amazing amount of material presented.
Getting an understanding for the incredible delicacy of the relationships between Britain, United States and Russia during the Second World War. Being able to see the human side of so many of the great leaders of that era.
Without a doubt Winston Churchill - such a complex yet simple man. Someone who was so dedicated to the ultimate cause and was not afraid to take the difficult steps when required.
I would have loved to but simply didn't have 56 hours available but it did make for six weeks of riveting commentary whilst walking the dog..
A great volume and it gives a detailed account for what was one of the most critical times in recent history.
Being an All Black fan makes this book of immediate interest to me but the gold is contained within the pages... These Lessons in Leadership will help transform any team, organisation or company if they are adapted to the particular environment.
It is just so inspiring and it is already proven in the sensational record within the All Black team. The way that the book relates with many traditional Maori proverbs adds an incredible extra dimension.
The sweeping of the sheds where two senior players simply get up and get the job done.
Don't waste another moment just download and prepare to be transformed and inspired...
It was a fantastic journey for the listener to get a fully perspective on the incredibly varied life lived by Schwarzenegger. From humble beginnings to being one of the most successful body builders in history, into the political fray and showing the very human side of a man that many have admired. The classic story of someone living the American dream and doing what they can not only to better their own lives but to give back to many others. It gives you glimpses of not only his incredible strength, drive and discipline but also his fragility and weaknesses.
The only character really is Arnold himself and this is a true autobiography showing the tremendous tapestry of his life from the life of a humble rural background to the Governor of the State of California. Arnold is someone who has not only thought of himself but wanted to give back to others as well.
If you have been a fan of Schwarzenegger either because of his movie career, his body building career or his political career then this is a must listen. It helps the listener to understand the complexity that is Arnold as well as the true simplicity in his outlook on life.
This is a fascinating glimpse at early Australian history. The race to cross Australia and some of the characters and personalities involved. Extremely well written and narrated. Left one wondering about the pursuit of progress at any cost and the ego's of some of the early players in Australian history.
