"Excellent and witty"
I love hearing Stephanie read her own books. She is a witty, intelligent writer and it is a real treat to hear her read the words with the pauses and inflections she intended when she was writing them.
The book itself is very enjoyable and full of the expected knitterly humour. I have listened to this book several times.
I can't wait for more of Stephanie's books to become available by audiobook.
"Juliet converted me"
I would recommend this book. The story is very sweet and Juliet narrates it perfectly.
Jane turns an ordinary romance into intriguing character studies.
I really can't choose a favourite character.
Yes, given the time, I could have listened to this book in one sitting.
"Better than reading the book"
Overall this was an enjoyable experience and I have continued with the Wheel of Time series by audiobook. I have always struggled to read Robert Jordan as I find him a little wordy but the books are easier to listen to than to read. I find them excellent to listen to while walking or while doing housework.
"Very enjoyable"
I have read the previous two books in the series and decided to get the audiobook to stretch out the experience of enjoying these books (I devoured the paperbacks in a very short few hours).
I enjoyed the narrator's rendition. I also enjoyed the plot of this book just as much as I enjoyed the previous two. Stephanie's writing is compelling.
One small quibble with the quality of the audio. Around 3 times in the 16 hours of listening it behaved as if the record had got stuck. It may just have been my copy - a glitch in the download. It didn't spoil the overall experience.
