"MIRROR IMAGE"
Sandra Brown is one of my favorite authors but this book isn't one of my favorites. The plot was too far fetched and predictable. The sex scenes were too porn-like in my opinion. I'd recommend it only if a reader's expectations aren't too high.
"Addicting!!!"
Although i'm not a fan of sci-fi/fantasy books, I thought i'd give this book a listen since it came so heavily recommended. Little did I know i'd be sucked into the book so much!! I couldn't wait to see what would happen next!! As the last lines were read, i hungered for more, so I downloaded the sequels!!! Awesome, awesome!!! A must have!!!
"EXCELLENT AND WITTY!!!"
This book captivated me from the first word I heard to the last. The story takes the listener to the turbulent times of the old South when equality was virtually non-existent. Although the story is sad, I found myself laughing out loud several times! There are characters I grew to love and respect and others that I hated!
Kudos to Stockett for a wonderfully written, witty book that I couldn't stop listening to!! Needless to say,I was sad when it ended! This book is definitely a must listen!!!!
"CHILLING SUSPENSE!!!!!!"
My very favorite Sandra Brown book to date!!! I have actually listed to this book at least three times over the last few years!!! The narrator did an excellent job throughout the entire book. Sadly, a narrator can either make or break a book regardless of how good it is. Lang did an awesome job!!!! The plot is unpredictable and edge of your seat suspenseful! This is definitely a must listen!!!
"RIVETING!!!"
I have become a big fan of Lisa Gardner after listening to two of her books! How in the world does she come up with these plots?! I became engrossed in the story and its characters! This is a very well written and thrilling book, although it does touch on some unpleasant and disturbing content! The narrating was excellently done and made the story even more entertaining! A must listen!!!!
"Addictive!!!!"
This is the very first Lisa Gardner book I've listened to and have become a big fan! Her plot and twists throughout the book kept me wanting to hear more and more. The narrators did an excellent job of portraying the characters in the storyline as well. I recommend this book!!! You will not regret it!
"Not too bad"
Being a Sandra Brown fan for a few years, I always like to see what new storyline her new books render. I hadn't read (or listened in this case) this book until now and needless to say it isn't one of her best ones. It was entertaining and worth a listen. One of my faves is "Fat Tuesday" as well as "Chill Factor". Those are the classic Brown suspense novels that i personally enjoy!
"SLOW MOVING...."
I have been a fan of Kinsella's since, "Can you Keep a Secret?", but this storyline was just too slow moving and predictable for me. I kept waiting and waiting for something interesting and funny to happen but am disappointed to say nothing ever did. Aside from a few funny parts and the narrator's English accent, the book was a waste of my time. I hate to admit, but I couldn't wait for the end to occur so I could move on to my next audio book. The aforementioned book by Kinsella is absolutely worth listening to though.
"Simmering!!!"
One of Sandra Brown's classic romance and suspense novels! The plot was slow at first but it didn't take long for it to grasp my attention. The narrator did a great job at conveying the emotions of every character throughout the book. I seriously couldn't wait to find out what would happen next!!! A must listen!!
"The Witness"
Classic Sandra Brown suspense novel. It maintained my attention but it's not one of my favorites, although I still recommend it.
