Set in the 16th century, Until You tells the tale of a young heroine who discovers the love of a lifetime. Beautiful Rosamund is introduced to the Earl of Glenkirk, and they immediately fall in love. Their growing passion is stifled, however, when war breaks out between England and Scotland.

I love Amanda Quick's writing. She bold, hot and interesting. That's why I couldn't wait to get into this story. I started listening to it and by the first hour i was waiting for it to end. The Nararation by Virgina Leishman was horrible. Everytime she swallowed your heard it and it was loud . It sounded like she had a mouth full of marbles. Again, the story was a good one. But I couldn't concern myself with the story because I was consumed by noise in the background. I have a mental note to not purchase anything that this individual nararates.

It was whispered all through London society that he was a murderer, that he'd spent his youth in an asylum and was not to be trusted - especially with a lady. Any woman caught in his presence was immediately ruined. Yet Beth found herself inexorably drawn to the Scottish lord whose hint of a brogue wrapped around her like silk and whose touch could draw her into a world of ecstasy.

History has all but forgotten.... In the spring of 1708, an invading Jacobite fleet of French and Scottish soldiers nearly succeeded in landing the exiled James Stewart in Scotland to reclaim his crown. Now, Carrie McClelland hopes to turn that story into her next best-selling novel. Settling herself in the shadow of Slains Castle, she creates a heroine named for one of her own ancestors and starts to write. But then she discovers her novel is more fact than fiction....

I was really looking forward in listening to this book. It was called the next "Outlander" (which I loved). However, it didn't come close. The book goes back and forth so fast and so often it's hard to keep up. Buy the time you figure it out, the story has switched back. I'm sorry but I wish i had the time back that I spent listening to it.

Sister Evangeline was just a girl when her father entrusted her to the Franciscan Sisters of Perpetual Adoration. Now, at 23, her discovery of a 1943 letter from the famous philanthropist Abigail Rockefeller to the late mother superior of Saint Rose Convent plunges Evangeline into a secret history that stretches back a thousand years: an ancient conflict between the Society of Angelologists and the monstrously beautiful descendants of angels and humans.

I enjoyed to this book after I got used to the narrator's voice. The beginning was a little slow and sometimes complexed facts. But the story line was interesting and made you think about how true this could be. The individuals in the story are strong and draw you into the unusal world that ingulfs you. I hope that this is not the only book in regards to Angelology.
