"Astounding!"
The ending left even more to the imagination. I cannot wait to read the next installment!
None LOL this story line is absolutely realistic and sexy especially when you have been around this type of lifestyle. It gives a perspective that most people don't even know exists.
He is always awesome! Anything narrated by him has to be good as far as I'm concerned, he is batting 1000 with me.
Young Carter and Miamore were awesome with their South American escapades. Money was also quite interesting this time around although I hope that he will be his debonair self in the next installment.
I cannot wait for The Cartel 5!
"Meh!"
I'm not sure, It seems that the series that this is a part of is quite complex and the fact that the entire series is not available on audible is a negative for me. There is a barrage of characters and so much to keep up with but all in all the story comes together.
N/A I have read the actual hard backs and loved them.
Not excited about it, she is not a good enough narrator to carry characters of both sex. Her voice just did not make this story come alive enough for me. I think that with a male accompaniment she would be perfect. Her voice is sultry and very well suited for any female character. If she and Carey Height were to narrate together they would be unstoppable.
Nope. Nothing that I have not already stopped doing, dating drug dealers LMAO
This was not my favorite Wahida Clark story although it was gritty and super realistic as usual.
"Absolutely Crazy!"
Yes I would. I have the entire series and plan to listen to all of it again.
I loved the action and grit of it and the surprising end. The sexiness and danger never disappoint.
Miamore and Carter are always the most entertaining. I loved Zaire as well. Mecca was also convincing as the all encompassing antagonist.
Young Carter of course LOL
This book will give you a heart attack with suspense it is absolutely awesome!
"Oh MY GOD! WOW"
I have not experienced the text version (I so don't have time in my schedule right now for actually sitting with a book in hand) but this was phenomenal!
The twists and turns, the truth of it, the way I could relate to it was amazing. I no devil or angel but I have been through things in my life and come from places that made this book so believable for me.
He was awesome, he is consistent in the way he portrays the characters and although having a variation of narrators is cool he is a great voice over actor.
I would call it, It Was All a Dream after a Biggie song lyric LOL
This book had me about to cry so many times it's crazy, I gasped like I was actually watching a movie, and I cannot wait to buy the next book, or 2 LOL.
"Waiting on the Movie Series"
I could picture and unfortunately relate to much of what was going on.
My favorite characters were too many to name, all of the Cartel and Mia were all vividly painted and quite entertaining.
Young Carter was the best performance, very cool and sexy.
I laughed and cringed quite a bit. I could predict much of the storyline and dialogue but this did not stop me from listening it was amazing.
This story should really be made into a movie. Most females don't like watching gangster flicks but as one who watched Scarface and King of New York with my dad I really love this kind of stuff LOL. It would have to be rated NC-17 but it would be well worth it.
"Awesome"
Very Highly
Minnie and Mrs. Celia Foote were my favorite characters because they were so different yet had so much in common. They were both honest in their own way.
I do not remember the narrator but I know that I loved this production, I cried and laughed throughout as though I were watching before my eyes.
Yes I did cry really hard at the end of the book. I was so sad when Ablene had to leave the baby.
Hilly Holbrook is some piece of work, one of the best antagonists I've ever encountered.
"The truth is simply the truth"
I never read the print version, don't have time. LOL
This is actually a self improvement book based on the truth of Biblical principals. Anyone who is willing to do this will prosper and be free from debt and worry.
Himself.
Everything. It is hard but I am working on it slowly but surely.
The struggle is real but so is the dream.
