What did you love best about A Hunger Like No Other?

THE WRITTER HAS DONE AN OUTSTANDING JOB BY TAKING THE 1ST BOOK WRITTEN AND LEADS YOU THRU EACH OF THE STORYS - A HUNGER LIKE NO OTHER IS YET ANOTHER EXAMPLE OF THE WRITER FLOWING YOU THROUGH THE INDIVIDUAL CHARATERS, THERE IS SUSPENSE, LAUGHTER, THRILLS, ROMANCE - BUT THE QUESTION IS - WHAT DID I LOVE BEST ABOUT THIS BOOK = "EVERY SINGLE WORD" - EVERY SINGLE "SECOND" OF THE BOOK, = VERY WELL WRITTEN, VERY WELL NARRATED - THE WRITTER & NARRATOR MAKES YOU FALL IN LOVE WITH EACH OF THE CHARATERS -

What was one of the most memorable moments of A Hunger Like No Other?

MY MEMORABLE MOMENT THROUGOUT ALL OF THESE BOOKS IS GOING THRU THE STORY WITH THE CHARATERS - THE FIRST TIME THEY SAW EACH OTHER, THE JOURNEY & ANTICIPATION THEY TAKE FALLING IN LOVE, AND OF COURSE THE HORROR OF THEM ALMOST LOOSING EACH ONLY TO MAKE IT THROUGH BECAUE THE LOVE THEY HAVE FOR EACH OTHER IS GREATER THAN ANYTHING IN THIS WORLD -

BUT FOR ME IT WAS THE PLANE WAS GOING DOWN - HOW BOWEN HELD HER PROTECTING HER AND TALKING TO HER AS THE PLANE WENT DOWN, WHILE WE GOT TO LISTEN TO HIS THOUGHTS OF HIS LOVE FOR HER - HOW HE WOULD DO "ANYTHING" TO KEEP HER SAFE EVEN SACRAFICING HIS OWN LIFE.

What about Robert Petkoff’s performance did you like?

YES, THE AUTHOR IS BEYOND WORDS OUTSTANDING - BUT MR. PETKOFF'S PERFORMANCE 'REALLY' MAKES OR DEFINES THE STORY AND EACH OF THE CHARATERS - I DON'T KNOW IF I WOULD FEEL SO DEEPLY ABOUT EACH OF THE INDIVIDUALS IF IT WASN'T FOR MR. PETKOFF'S PERFORMANCE - JUST AN OUTSTANDING - EXCELLENT PERFORMANCE EACH & EVERY TIME!!!

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

YES - AFTER THE CRASH WHEN BOWN TOOK HER TO THE YARD TO LET THE VINES GROW OVER HER - I FOUND MYSELF CHEERING OUTLOUD

    Any additional comments?

PLEASE DO NOT STOP WRITTING THESE BOOKS & PLEASE NEVER USE ANYONE BUT MR. PETKOFF TO TELL YOUR STORY -

"AND" I WANT TO SAY = THANK 'YOU' SO VERY MUCH - I ACTUALLY LOOK FORWARD & CAN'T WAIT TO DRIVE HOME & SIT IN TRAFFIC - MY LIFE IS BETTER HAVING READ YOUR STORIES!!!

Iris Scanlon, Half-Moon Hollow's only daytime vampire concierge, knows more about the undead than she'd like. Running all their daylight errands - from letting in the plumber to picking up some chilled O neg - gives her a look at the not-so-glamorous side of vampire life. Her rules are strict; relationships with vamps are strictly business, not friendship - and certainly not anything else. But then she finds her newest client, Cal, poisoned on his kitchen floor, and only Iris can help.

Life has been harsh, but after a horrible childhood, Park was finally content with her life. Her beautiful home sat on the edge of the Pacific Ocean in Los Angeles, she had her dream job, and good friends she trusted. Then she's abducted, car-jacked by a stunningly sexy man who she realizes is dangerously crazy - he thinks he's a vampire. Park plays along until she can escape, until she discovers that there are things out there people like her never knew existed.

What could have made this a 4 or 5-star listening experience for you?

Really cannot rate the "Book" because I could not bare 1 more second listening to Lauren Sweet - If I were the Author I would SUE for loosing listeners - she made me want to rip my ears out of my head!!! It's too bad as I was "hoping" to start a New Series - instead I threw away good money that I could have used on "ANY OTHER" book / Narrator!!!

What could C. L. Quinn have done to make this a more enjoyable book for you?

I have to believe that Quinn did "NOT" actually Approved this Narrator - With so many very good narrators around I am TOTALLY LOST on "WHY" anyone would want Sweet to Narrate their book???????

Let me help Quinn out with a "TRUE NARRATOR"= There is.....R. Petkoff, C. Holloway, J. Fangione, H. Huber, S. Eastlake, T. Gilbert, etc...etc...etc..."ANYONE" BUT SWEET!!!!!

How could the performance have been better?

    See above!!!!!

If you could play editor, what scene or scenes would you have cut from Forbidden Days?

Don't know, because I absolutely could NOT get thru the 1st CD and have "no memory" of the Story ONLY how VERY BAD the Narrator was!!!!

    Any additional comments?

I am truly sorry I will not be able to purchase "any" of the First Series, as I understand the actual "STORY" is a good one - WHAT A SHAME to have a "Series" go to waste!!!!!!!

Turned into a vampire against her will, 28-year-old Merit found her way into the dark circle of Chicago's vampire underground, where she learned there was more to supernaturals than met the eye - and more supernaturals than the public ever imagined. And not all the secrets she learned were for sharing - among humans or inhumans. Now Merit is on the hunt, charging across the stark American Midwest, tailing a rogue supernatural intent on stealing an ancient artifact that could unleash catastrophic evil on the world. But Merit is also the prey.

Would you consider the audio edition of Biting Cold to be better than the print version?

Never Ever have the time to "sit & read" - only way to read a book is to Listen to a Book - sooooo I cannot answer this question!!!

What was one of the most memorable moments of Biting Cold?

When Merit & Ethan were at the Farmhouse in bed talking about how they get themselves to fall asleep when things are stressful - It was a very Tender & very Nice moment in the book!!!!

What about Sophie Eastlake’s performance did you like?

To me the narrator is "more" important than the Book it self!!!!

So do not take lightly my review of Sophie, which is: I was soooo scared to purchase the "New" Narrator book and was HAPPY = Sophie is a Good Narrator - YES...her "Man" voice could be better BUT overall Sophie is "almost" as good as Holloway!!!

"TRY" listening to the narrator of: Forbidden Days = Lauren Sweet - OMG it should be a Crime to allow her to narrate & if I was the Author I would SUE = 1st Time I have ever said this....I want my money back!!!!! -

Soooooo compared to Lauren Sweet, Sophie is WONDERFUL, at least I'll keep buying Chicagoland books, whereas I will NOT spend 1 more dime on The Firsts Series!!!!

If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?

    Really don't know.....Dark One????

    Any additional comments?

Everyone just needs to calm down about the Narrator - she'll come into her own- AND be "VERY GRATEFUL" that it's not Lauren Sweet doing the narrating!!!!!

If you could sum up Lover Unleashed in three words, what would they be?

    HUNGRY - FOR - MORE!!!!!

What did you like best about this story?

Having read the book reviews, the majority thought the book was "out-of-character" with the previous books - and I "some-what" agree, BUT... only with the fact there were a lot of different story's going on at the same time - even so, the story's were well written, well told, and all interesting!!!

I don't think the Author could tell a bad story regardless to how many story's are being told at once - in fact I would say the Author is BEYOND BRILLIANT to be able to do so!!!!

So the answer to this question is:

How the Author was able to write such a Quality Book while telling several different story's at one time and not neglecting one character over another, all while keeping the reader interested and HUNGERY FOR MORE!!!!!

Which character – as performed by Jim Frangione – was your favorite?

Gotta tell you - Frangione does a GREAT Butch!!!

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

Yep (I'm embarrassed to say) - it was at the Horse Race - not to ruin the book for anyone who hasn't yet read it - a tear or 2 was shed when the horse went down - I've been there / done that - which is why I'm sensitive to the situation.

    Any additional comments?

I "APPRECIATE" Ms. Cole & Mr. Frangione for their hard work & dedication to the series and "pray" they "both" keep up the GREAT work as "ALL" of the books, so far, in this series have brought me such excitement & joy - THANK YOU Ms. Cole & Mr. Frangione!!!!

Insightful, Edgey, Not-Believable (Jane end part)

What other book might you compare Lover Unbound, The Black Dagger Brotherhood, Book 5 to and why?

All the books give you "GREAT" Insight on the "Main" Charater - this is always interesting info!!!

What does Jim Frangione bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

He's good - Wish he could get a bit more "into" Charater

If you were to make a film of this book, what would be the tag line be?

    Any additional comments?

Just that I was sort of disappointed about the "Jane" ending - I mean "really"???? Coming back as a ghost that people can walk thru = so "not" believable nor the Writer Forte'
