"One of my favorite series"
Wonderfully written and fabulously performed. Cabin Pressure is hilarious, touching, and always great. S3 is just as strong as the previous series, and "St. Petersburg" was a fantastic series end.
"Fantastic, entertaining, and helpful"
This is funny and enjoyable just as a semi-memoir of Hardwick, but also really useful as a self-help guide geared toward nerdy-minded people. The only part I didn't like was the workout guide section toward the middle - probably more useful (and/or easier to skip over) in physical book format, but annoying in the audiobook. Otherwise, highly recommended.
"A few small annoyances, but overall great!"
There were several small things that annoyed me about this audiobook, including the fact that the phrase "[Character] said," appeared what felt like thousands of times, but overall I really loved both the story and WW's performance. I especially liked all the tangential epilogues, so listen all the way until the end!
"Okay, but not great"
Being an enthusiastic newcomer to Nerdfighteria and a huge lover of YA lit, I expected to really love this book. It didn't live up to my expectations. The story was okay, but just didn't move me in the way I think it intended to. The moral lessons and philosophical epiphanies felt contrived and overindulgent. I didn't connect with the main character very much, but I'm not sure whether this was because of the unrealistic way he was written, or the way the narrator emphasized his speech, which I did not care for at all.
"Gorgeous story, gorgeous performance"
One of my favorite recent reads/listens. The story is fantastically absorbing, and the performance is truly stellar.
"Enjoyable story, excellent performance"
The audio performance really makes this story come alive. It's not as action-heavy as most zombie stories, but it's gripping nonetheless.
