Samantha Kingston has it all: the world's most crush-worthy boyfriend, three amazing best friends, and first pick of everything at Thomas Jefferson High—from the best table in the cafeteria to the choicest parking spot. Friday, February 12, should be just another day in her charmed life. Instead, it turns out to be her last. Then she gets a second chance. Seven chances, in fact.

Bluemoon says: "Great story... but not for kids!"
    "great for any age"
    Overall

I really enjoyed this audiobook. The story is very original and the narrator captures the emotions so perfectly. I actually downloaded Lauren Oliver's other book, "Delirium" because it is also narrated by Sarah Drew. This story really struck a chord with me and I can't wait to see what Lauren Oliver comes out with next.

Despite the tumor-shrinking medical miracle that has bought her a few years, Hazel has never been anything but terminal, her final chapter inscribed upon diagnosis. But when a gorgeous plot twist named Augustus Waters suddenly appears at Cancer Kid Support Group, Hazel’s story is about to be completely rewritten. Insightful, bold, irreverent, and raw, The Fault in Our Stars is award-winning-author John Green’s most ambitious and heartbreaking work yet, brilliantly exploring the funny, thrilling, and tragic business of being alive and in love.

Would you consider the audio edition of The Fault in Our Stars to be better than the print version?

I did not read the print version. However, I really enjoy these types of audiobooks where you can really feel the emotions of the characters through the voices.

What did you like best about this story?

I am probably older than most of the audience of this story/genre, but I enjoyed every moment of it. Every aspect of the story-the love story, the illnesses, the loss is-is relatable to anyone at any age.

Which character – as performed by Kate Rudd – was your favorite?

I think Augustus was my favorite character. He seems like the kind of person I wish I could have gotten to know.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

I listened to the whole thing in less than a day. Granted I was road-tripping at the time, but I am ready to listen to it again and I just finished it a few hours ago.

    Any additional comments?

Another great novel by John Green. Have not been disappointed by any of his work so far.

It's been so long since Auden slept at night. Ever since her parents' divorce - or since the fighting started. Now she has the chance to spend a carefree summer with her dad and his new family in the charming beach town where they live.A job in a clothes boutique introduces Auden to the world of girls: their talk, their friendship, their crushes. She missed out on all that, too busy being the perfect daughter to her demanding mother. Then she meets Eli, an intriguing loner and a fellow insomniac.

Julie says: "Not a romance story"
"Great story for a summer read/listen"
    Overall

I have downloaded other books by this author and Along For The Ride has been my favorite so far. I felt like the characters were all well-developed and I could really visualize what Auden was going through. I think I enjoyed this story so much because it seemed believable-from her parents divorce to making friends in a new town. Many books in this genre are entertaining, but completely ridiculous and unrealistic. Great listen!
