"great for any age"
I really enjoyed this audiobook. The story is very original and the narrator captures the emotions so perfectly. I actually downloaded Lauren Oliver's other book, "Delirium" because it is also narrated by Sarah Drew. This story really struck a chord with me and I can't wait to see what Lauren Oliver comes out with next.
"Ready to listen again"
I did not read the print version. However, I really enjoy these types of audiobooks where you can really feel the emotions of the characters through the voices.
I am probably older than most of the audience of this story/genre, but I enjoyed every moment of it. Every aspect of the story-the love story, the illnesses, the loss is-is relatable to anyone at any age.
I think Augustus was my favorite character. He seems like the kind of person I wish I could have gotten to know.
I listened to the whole thing in less than a day. Granted I was road-tripping at the time, but I am ready to listen to it again and I just finished it a few hours ago.
Another great novel by John Green. Have not been disappointed by any of his work so far.
"Great story for a summer read/listen"
I have downloaded other books by this author and Along For The Ride has been my favorite so far. I felt like the characters were all well-developed and I could really visualize what Auden was going through. I think I enjoyed this story so much because it seemed believable-from her parents divorce to making friends in a new town. Many books in this genre are entertaining, but completely ridiculous and unrealistic. Great listen!
