"Untold Native Stories"
Overall the first half of the book moves at an even pace, fairly easy to follow until the author skips back and forth all over history's timeline to embellish episodes of an individual character before getting back to the sequence of events in the drama. The reader's tone is mellow and drawn out without much emotion. The insight into the Native American's lifestyle is facsinating, unlike anything I have read to date.
"Refreshingly Rosey"
An easy read/listen revolves around an emotionally abusive person and the victims who have been hurt over the years. Colorful narrative of feelings.
"Another Dan Brown winner"
Listening to this suspense cult story laced with a smiggen of a love infatuation will keep you wide awake on a long flight!
"One Woman's Wild West"
The wild west & all it's colorful historical characters as seen through the eyes of a lone woman over her lifetime
"Soild View"
This is a review of the factual elements of the building and decline of the now household word:
Enron. Appropriately titled - it's a modern version of the Emporer's New Clothes
"Refreshingly Rich"
A richly vivid southern story lush in emotional details of feeling.
"Perfect Title"
One of the best, well researched books of this decade. Unassuming presentation of the sequence of events revealing how a house of stick can easily fall. Once upon a time in corporate America the modern version of The Emporer's New Clothes .......... everyone who invests needs to read this one!
"Much better than the movie"
Great light story, full of indepth family humor with well developed "ordinary people" character. MUCH MUCH better than the movie - a good read for vacation!
"Freak data strings"
Overall interesting correlation of social data and it's suggested economic impact over the last 40 years. Young parents may find some parts interesting - high school educators might pose the "how parents matter" discussion to their coming of age students. Too bad the last chapter "baby names" leaves an overall conclusion of "ok - so what".
