Award-winning author, narrator, and screenwriter Neil Gaiman personally selected this book, and, using the tools of the Audiobook Creation Exchange (ACX), cast the narrators and produced this work for his audiobook label, Neil Gaiman Presents. In this exciting new "illuminated production", the author herself reads her own work, supported by a full cast.

The first time this switched from a more forward audio book to a full cast audio drama, I was a bit taken aback by it. However, it became clear this was all for the benefit of this great listen. Kushner herself does a great job of narrating her text, but I have to say Felicia Day shines as Lady Katherine and Neil Gaiman's brief appearance is nothing short of brilliant.

This book isn't something I would normally go for, but I can't adequately describe how much I ended up enjoying it.

Ensign Andrew Dahl has just been assigned to the Universal Union Capital Ship Intrepid, flagship of the Universal Union since the year 2456. Life couldn’t be better…until Andrew begins to pick up on the facts that (1) every Away Mission involves some kind of lethal confrontation with alien forces; (2) the ship’s captain, its chief science officer, and the handsome Lieutenant Kerensky always survive these confrontations; and (3) at least one low-ranked crew member is, sadly, always killed.

Even for those who aren't familiar with Star Trek, this massively funny work is accessible and easy to enjoy. Wil Wheaton's narration is superb and adds a delightful meta nature to the audio book.

At once wildly original and stuffed with irresistible nostalgia, Ready Player One is a spectacularly genre-busting, ambitious, and charming debut—part quest novel, part love story, and part virtual space opera set in a universe where spell-slinging mages battle giant Japanese robots, entire planets are inspired by Blade Runner, and flying DeLoreans achieve light speed.

I may be biased because a book that is so ingrained in the video games, movies, and music I love would be hard not to like. But this is so much more than that. The story hooked me almost immediately and never let go. I often found all I wanted to do was keep listening. Which brings me to Wil Wheaton, who does an outstanding job narrating the story. It is clear he was the perfect choice and he really brings the story to life.

Five thousand years out of the Labyrinth, the Minotaur finds himself in the American South, living in a trailer park and working as a line cook at a steakhouse. No longer a devourer of human flesh, the Minotaur is a socially inept, lonely creature with very human needs. But over a two-week period, as his life dissolves into chaos, this broken and alienated immortal awakens to the possibility for happiness and to the capacity for love.

This was the first audio book I've ever listened to and I have to say, I loved the experience. This was a great story and Graham's performance is outstanding, he really brings the character of the Minotaur to life.
