Ann Rule always writes awesome books, and I love her True Crime Files books.
I would recommend this book to my friends who aren't put off by graphic details. However, the first story about Morris Blankenbaker was a little long.
Well, heres the thing. I could have used a different narrartor. Here characterization of the male players in the book was off-putting, and because most of the players in this book were male, it was slightly annoying.
If said friend was a Stephen King fan, such as myself, I would recommend it, if they are new to King, it wouldn't be the first of his I would recommend.
The recording was kind of muffled which irritated me.
I just liked the Beaver character, I liked his humor and vocabulary.
Incredible character story.
There is only one option: Dolores Claiborne. She is my favorite because she is one tough broad who doesn't sugar coat the awful truth.
I can't imagine anyone besides Frances Sternahagen reading this book. She brought depth to the character, and had a great Maine accent that Dolores would have.
