"God is not great is great"
Hitchens bites at times but his argumentation is precise to the point of cruelty. He is accurate as much as irritating and, unlike other atheist writers, prefers not put the emphasis on the philosophical issues which are, once you run through them once, tedious and boring. Hitches rather puts the emphasis on social, cultural and historical problems which are derived from belief in God and he is devastating in their enumeration and application.
