If you could sum up Brain Rules for Baby in three words, what would they be?

John Medina did a great job of taking a complex topic and delivering it in an easy-to-understand and interesting way. I will definitely listen to this one again.

Bestselling author, speaker, and world-traveling success coach Jen Sincero cuts through the din of the self-help genre with her own verbal meat cleaver in You are a Badass: How to Stop Doubting Your Greatness and Start Living an Awesome Life. In this refreshingly blunt how-to guide, Sincero serves up twenty-seven bite-sized chapters full of hilariously inspiring stories, life-changing insights, easy exercises, and the occasional swear word.

Where does You are a Badass rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

I was skeptical of self-help books. After adding many in the genre to my wish list for "later," this one grabbed my attention because of the name. I was feeling discouraged after failing an important class. Jen Sincero puts life in perspective in the most motivating way. This is one that I will listen to again and again until I get my degree and career.

All self-help books say 'love yourself.' What does that mean? Get. This Audiobook.

Imagine that your husband wrote you a letter, to be opened after his death. Imagine, too, that the letter contains his deepest, darkest secret - something with the potential to destroy not just the life you built together, but the lives of others as well. Imagine, then, that you stumble across that letter while your husband is still very much alive....

Would you recommend The Husband's Secret to your friends? Why or why not?

I liked it, but it was a little anti-climatic. It kept my attention, but I kept waiting for something big to happen at the end. I listen to audiobooks at work to pass the time. It kept my attention. Id recommend it if you have time to pass.

Have you listened to any of Caroline Lee’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

    Any additional comments?

It did make me feel. It was able to relate to the characters.
