"Frequent Listener"
Well, I was glad to hear that Mr. Hill was back on board with this novel, however I'm afraid even his talents couldn't save it. Yes, I still liked the characters and the banter, however the story line was weak and didn't draw me in like the first books did. This one seemed like an afterthought and didn't bring much to a conclusion. In addition, the events in this book seemed unplausable, yes I know it is fiction, but normally Mr. Griffin weaves a lot more detail that is based in fact to the story. This book, especially the quick departure of the ex-president and the lunacy of the new president did not make for a believable story in my eyes, fiction or not.
Hope there is another book, take a little more time Mr. Griffin and weave a better tale that closes out the story lines on all the characters, this one didn't do it for me.
"Frequent Listener"
Not my favorite of the three Will Lee books I've listened to, however it adds the depth to the future books I'm sure the series needs. Looking forward to the next in the series, I like Stone, but I think I prefer this series.
"Frequent Listener"
Good listen, like the series, like this book. Sorry to see that it probably isn't going to work out with Jack and his girl, but waiting for the next book or two to see what happens. I just heard about this author and the series this year because of the movie. Glad to find it, recomend it for those of you who want action, but don't necessarily need it to be in the form of a terrorist. Good twisted detective series.
"Frequent Listener"
Talk about a bummer, this one was not what I expected. Tony gets thumbs up from me, one of my favorite narrators. He seems to have these characters down pat. I think if I had to listen to this series with any other narrator it wouldn't be the same. As always, not great literature, but always entertaining.
"Frequent Listener"
I continue the saga of the Jack Reacher series, this one was performed very well by Mr. McClain. I think I read a review that was a little rough on this narrator in the series, I would have to say that Jonathon did an excellent job in my eye. I really like this series, different than a normal cop and robber story line, but still every bit as engaging. I think of this as a Columbo on steriods. A bit odd, but great story lines and character development. Good work.

I started this series with Chiefs of course and have listened to many of Stuarts Stone B. series books, however I have to say this book is my absolute favorite. The story kept me engaged, I loved how the characters were developed and intertwined. The only thing about the book I didn't care much for was the ending and the closing one way or another of Will's and Connie's relationship. I was rooting for them to get back together, but alas, it appears not to be so in this book. I guess I'm on to the next book to see.
"Frequent Listener"
Great book for finding out a lot of questions on Stone's relationship with Arrington. Too bad it didn't last again. No real story other than them hooking up with the aftermath. I guess we will be hearing lots more about Peter. Liked it, didn't love it.
"Frequent Listener"
Listening to all the books. Tony does a great job with the narration. Not great literature, but entertaining. Something like listening or reading a script for a day time drama. Don't read or listen to if you are a literature snob, you won't like it. Want to chuckle and leave with an interesting story and a smile on your face, then listen.
"Frequent Listener"
Listened to the first book, it was great, read the reviews for the second and third where everyone dissed the narrater, can't agree with their call. Story line on this one was a little hokey with the militia members being brain dead zombies, but overall it was an interesting story that I enjoyed listening to. By the way, if Mr. McClain is a boring narrater, let me offer up some other books I've listened to. Mr. McClain does a good job, keeps the characters differentiated, only struggled with the female characters.
"Frequent Listener"
Just finished this listen on the way home from work Friday. Went back on line to down load a couple of the S.B. series I haven't listened to yet. Read the reviews by many, pretty surprised by the feedback. For those who listen to a lot of books, Tony does one of the best jobs of any of the narraters I listen to. Seperation of the characters is difficult, Tony does a great job with this. As far as the Barrington series go, I listen because they are fun, only slightly racy and entertaining. Maybe not great literature, but they can make you laugh, keep you in some suspense and bring you in to like the characters. What more should you ask for in a series meant to entertain, not think.
"Frequent Listener"
Love this new series from David, great story line, great performances by both narraters. I recomend this book to listen or read, can't wait until the next book.
