"good cause bad pros"
convoluted, sometimes entertaining
"pretentious"
Orders of magnitude pretentious this book is. Sort of Neuromancer meets necromancer without the style and content of Gibson.
Couldn't wait to get through it.
Don't waste your $
"Big fan of Peter Robinson, not wild about narrator"
As a big fan of Peter Robinson, I like the book.
Mr. Prebble's narration for me was really monochromatic. He almost sounds bored reading the text.
Some one like Toby Longworth would have been a much better choice.
"Slow start but got better"
In this massive audiobook, one has to hang in there to enjoy it. By the end I was definitely
engaged. I would have like a little less supercilious reading though, good as it was.
"good story"
irrelevant question audible, if you want a review stop looking for marketing info,
word 14m word 15
well crafted story line
yes, believable accents for the most part, could use a little work on the Italian
dumb question
can we please get back to a regular review set up, this discourages me from a helpful review to other listeners
"Great Listen"
would recommend this audiobook, nicely crafted and well performed.
this is all I have to say, silly that audible has a 15 word minimum
"wait for it....wait for it...."
it seemed like it took fooooooorever for Mr. Coben to develope this story, way too much time to state the obvious
eh.....maybe not
excellent performer, always like his feel for the subject
no
"entertaining"
Randy Waybe Write brings a sophisticated twist to nefarious doings in the waters off Florida. Narrated creatively by Dick Hill.
"not bad"
Not my favorite work of Mr. Connelly but somewhat entertaining nonetheless. The narration was well performed.
"Larson it's not"
I guess we'll have to wait to see if Larson's girlfriend will come up with the 4th edition.
"not great"
Great expectations not realized in this hokey LA rich club fable, women and Bentley???s notwithstanding
