The only reason I am not giving this book five stars is because of the technical problems. I found myself comparing The Disney Companies to companies for which I have worked and the people to those with whom I have worked. I am coming away with a little more understanding of the frustrations and personalities of the higher ups in the organizations. I have worked with a few Eisners and it "ain't fun".

I truly enjoyed this book. After reading this book, Barbara Walters has become one of my favorite celebrities. There are tidbits about so many famous people.

Very wordy but a classic. Interesting characters. I found myself talking aloud to the characters in frustration for their plight. A lot of long speeches but the book held my interest. Good comparison to current events.

Brings to light the French Holocaust of which not many people are aware. The story was a little too coincidental but entertaining.

This book is enlightening if you care one way or another. Even though Andrew Young does a lot of whining, he does admit that he was foolish to get sucked in. It sheds light on both John and Elizabeth Edwards. What manipulators!

At first, I thought this was just going to be a take-off from Gone With the Wind. But it turned out to be a good story. Good narration.

I picked this book for our book club to read and it was touted as the favorite for the year.
