This was a great story. The production was less stellar, having enough lengthy pauses at odd spots, not just chapter breaks, to add 1/2 hour or more the the audio book! It was very distracting!
The Lost Key is a fast-paced chill-a-minute thrill ride. Nicholas and Mike are the best pairing since, well, Savich and Sherlock or Ellison and Coulter! The action was heart-stopping and the plot well thought out. Every character was engaging and the storyline was anything but predictable. Kudos to the authors for their latest collaboration. It's a winner!
The Inn BoonsBoro Trilogy was building up to Hope and Ryder's story and it does not disappoint. MacLeod Andrews is wonderful and the story fast paced as all loose ends are tied up in a most satisfactory fashion. Nora Roberts is one of the greats and The Perfect Hope is one of her best. I look forward to her next story!
This was a wonderful conclusion to Maggie Shayne's Shadow Falls series. The story built nicely on the first two and was well written and fast paced from beginning to end. This is a series you'll want to pick up!
Olivia's past is about to catch up with her and she may not get out alive. Unsure of who to trust she finds herself on the run with an amnesiac who may have been hired to kill her. With the enemy on her trail, she must use her wits and limited resources to outwit those after her and reclaim her life, once and for all.
Maggie Shayne's inimitable style is evident in this second of the Shadow Falls trilogy. Well written and fast paced, the listener won't want to hit pause. The only complaint I would register is the narrator; the voice was oddly nasal and distracting. Still, don't let that keep you from the great story!
This final Fowl adventure is chock full of shocking moments and humorous interludes as the gang gathers for a final battle with the ever-evil Opal!
I love anything by Julie Garwood, and The Ideal Man isn't an exception, my only complaint is some of the action happened too fast. I felt like all the amazing plot twists were leading up to something big, then boom, it was over. The narration was good, all in all, well worth the listen!
There's plenty to discover in this final story in the Lily Dale series. Calla Delaney has had to accept a lot of changes in her life, and this latest discovery is huge! With her father joining her in Lily Dale, she learns to accept the changes brought about by the death of her mother and how to deal with her gift while searching for the most amazing answer to a long kept secret.
